Since my late 40s I've been suffering from severe leg and foot cramps and nothing has given me instance relief until I was going thru my mom's stuff after she passed away oh my God the first time I used this in the mist of an episode within 2 to 3 minutes after applying my cramps instantly relented and I could lay down and go back to sleep I have never experienced a product like this now every time I have an episode I immediately reach for this thanks to whoever invented this

Being extremely concerned about natural and healthy products, I had high hopes for this tea tree oil-based product. Tea tree oil has amazing healing and disinfecting properties. I had purchased 2 tubes of Melaleuca Extra Strength Pain-A-Trate Pain-Relieving Cream and opened the first one to try after straining my lumbar spine at the gym. While the tingling and cooling sensation was similar to what I have experienced with similar products, such as Biofreeze, I did not experience any pain relief. I reapplied the Pain-A-Trate later after a warm shower but still did not notice any real difference. From the ingredient list, I would have expected better results from the melaleuca oil, especially because this is supposed to be a higher grade of tea tree oil. I certainly don't think it hurt anything, but like many other products, the cooling sensation merely distracted me from the pain.

I have used many pain relieving creams and Melaleuca Extra Strength Pain-A-Trate Pain Relieving Cream ranks up there with the best of them. The first thing that stood out to me with this cream is that it has a nice, but strong fragrance, which is rare in pain relief creams. The cream applies very easily to my skin and doesn't leave any residue behind. It instantly cools my skin and after a couple of seconds it heats it up. It alternates between hot and cold for several minutes before it settles some where in the middle. I tend to apply this cream to my shoulders to help sooth them after rotator cuff rehab. This cream does a great job in heating up my muscles and bringing more blood to aide in the healing process. I also used this cream on my knees after heavy squats as a preventative measure to preserve my knees. I noticed when I slack off on using the cream after squats I tend to feel a little achy the next day when I wake up. I immediately apply the cream and I'm back to feeling good.

This Melaleuca Extra Strength Pain-A-Trate Pain-Relieving Cream was actually recommended to me by the instructor of a dance class that I was taking. I'd mentioned that I was so not in shape for the sorts of stretches and moves that she was having us do and limped around the next day. She recommended using this after class and said it would help with the stiffness and aches the next day. I ordered some online and gave it a try after my class the following week. Initially I was a bit turned off by the combination of Melaleuca Oil and menthol which made for a potent combination. I did become accustomed to it with use though. I applied this and it absorbed quickly with no lingering greasiness or stickiness. The smell did remain though but it wasn't too bad. I noticed the stiffness and aching deep in my leg muscles went away very quickly after application, in under fifteen minutes. I didn't need to reapply and I felt fine the next morning. I've used this numerous times since, mainly after dance or exercise classes. It really seems to penetrate deep into the tissue to relief aches that most topical creams cannot reach.

This special brand is really quite unique and different than any other pain relief cream that is out there on the market. It stands alone with the fact that it is infused with Melaleuca Oils unlike any other top of the line name brands. The Melaleuca oils in it combined with the menthol and camphor make for an out of this world experience and marks a huge turning point in the evolution of topical pain relief products. I had seen commercials about it and heard a small bit about it through word of mouth and it was enough to get me doing some research about it, the same day I ordered mine online. When it arrived I began using it immediately basically on every surface of my body and within just one use could feel such an incredible difference in anything I have ever experienced with pain relief creams. I am only sad that I have to order it online and wait the seven to fourteen days for delivery.

This cream is quite pricy, but I always like to keep it on hand. I carry it in my purse for when my hands begin to ache due to arthritis. There are times of the year, like in the winter or when it is rainy, that my arthritis really begins to flare up in my hands and fingers. I do not like to use things such as icy hot or bengay because of the terrible smell and the burning feeling. Also, those are not very good for putting on your hands because they are so strong and terrible if they get into your eyes. This melaleuca cream is also not good for getting into your eyes, but it isn't as strong as the other creams. It also doesn't have anywhere near the smell that the other creams have. It is has a slightly minty scent to it. It isn't extremely strong and that is great for when using on hands and fingers. It is not so great for using on your back or somewhere you may need more strength. For those muscles, it is better to go with a stronger cream. But I do love this cream as an alternative for minor aches.

We have been really enjoying the Melaleuca products for quite some time now. This particular product is one of our mainstays in the house. It may not seem as strong as some of the store-bought products, but it does do a very good job of working through muscle aches. I apply this to my aches and sore muscles when needed and it seeps in slowly and successfully. It utilizes essential oils (especially Melaleuca-tea tree oil), which is a NATURAL way to alleviate the pain. I also apply this to my husbands very messed up shoulders after a hard days work and he while he's sleeping the ointment goes to work. He almost always wakes up feeling much more restored than he does without it. I would definitely recommend this product. It has a good success rate, it is not greasy, it has an odor that is somewhat medicinal, but not offensive. The tube is easy to use and is not messy. It has a screw cap for easy on/off.

My husband is a man of many pains. He retired from the military and now has job doing custom trim and finish carpentry. Over the years he has not been very good to his body and thus has frquent aches and pains. He really hates to use any type of cream for his aches and pains, but has reluctantly tried a few. Until I purchased and convinced him to use the Melaleuca pain-a-trate, I think he had given up on anything actually working. Now that he has tried the pain-a-trate, he has become a believer. It is the only cream he will use and he thinks it is the best at actually relieving that deep down muscle and joint pain. He uses it on a regular basis now. My mother also uses the pain-a-trate on her hip that she had replaced a few years ago. The two people I love and care about the most love this product and that is testement enough for me. It can however only be purchased on line from the melaleuca product store.

Pain-A-Trate is the best topical pain reliever I have yet found on the market.  Besides some of the usual ingredients, it also has T36-C5 Melaleuca Oil in it, which is an additional pain reliever.    Works well on preventing bruises, if you apply immediately & then continue applying over the next day or so! I have tried other topical treatments such as Ben-Gay, Icy Hot, etc., which have provided relief, but they don't give me the same level of relief.  I found after using it over a period of time that I get relief faster from Pain-A-Trate than with other topical products on the market.  Also nice to note is that Pain-A-Trate is not greasy, won't stain clothing and is easy to wash off your hands. I love the eucalyptus/menthol scent, but I know people who don't like it at all. A last note, when suffering from a cold, or chest congestion, particularly for asthmatics:  I have found rubbing this on my chest to help congestion and provide relief.   I have been a customer of Melaleuca for over 14 years now and this product is probably my favorite of all of them.  You need to be a customer in order to purchase them, but they can be ordered by phone or online.  The initial membership fee is low but the value of the products and the savings are far greater than the price of the membership fee.
