The McCullough Eager Beaver in the 32cc variety, using the 16" bar is ready and able to tackle the biggest firewood jobs an individual could imagine.  For the last 3 cold, Iowa winters, this little saw has been my faithful companion, cutting wood to keep a wood stove roaring from early October to late April.  The previous year, I had a different saw, much more highly touted, yet not nearly as capable as this little cutter.  Have a steady supply of chains however, or at least I needed to, but I believe that has alot to do with the wood I was cutting, hard hickories, elms and locust.  This little saw has cut a minimum of 30 cords of wood, and hasn't had one hiccup, other than the heavy diet of sharp chains.  On the very positive side, this saw was easy to start, just follow the printed starting instructions....very important.  It is light enough to not wear you out during a heavy wood cutting session, but heavy duty enough to fell even the larger trees, and I can tell you it can do it from experience.
