I absolutely love most of the features of my Maytag double oven. First, I find that it cooks evenly and true to the time listed on most recipes. I cook and bake on a regular basis and this is a very important feature to me. Second, I love the option of having a small oven and medium sized oven for cooking and baking. I have yet to find an item that is too large to cook in the medium-sized oven. I like the option of having a small oven and not having to heat up the entire unit just to cook something small. Finally, I love the flat cooktop. It heats up quickly and evenly. The one feature I do not care for is the fact that bottom oven door lies on the floor when you open the bottom oven. I think this is a huge hazard for pets and for small children. I am very careful with both my pets and small children when I have this bottom door open. This design flaw is not overly significant and does not affect the overall performance of the oven. I recommend this oven to family and friends.

I recently got to experience using this oven and I was pretty happy with it. A double oven is every home cook's dream, so I was very excited to get to experiment with it. It was perfect for what I needed it to do, which was help me prepare and warm food for a large party. I found that it was a little tricky to figure out at first, but once I got the hang of it, it was nothing. I'd love to continue using it. Capacity It surprised me by not holding quite as much as I expected, but I was able to work around it. Performance This did a great job of cooking all the food perfectly and keeping everything warm for the party. It overdid my toast a bit, but not to the point where it was a problem. Ease of Cleaning This was very easy to clean. Ease of Use The buttons were a little confusing at first, but I got the hang of it quickly enough. Durability This seems to be a very tough oven that can handle a lot of use. Design I love the sleek look of this oven. It looks professional and chic.

I love the double oven for parties and holidays. I'm able to cook a variety of main courses and sides and they're all ready at the same time and hot! Capacity I'm able to fit 2 large cooking pans on a rack. Performance sometimes takes a little longer than expected to cook Ease of Cleaning The ovens are a breeze. The black cooktop is sometimes a challenge to keep clean. Have had this electric range for only 10 days and have used both ovens a few times with success. While the cook top continues to function normally, the digital control panel went dark, effectively killing the use of either oven. The earliest Maytag (owned by Whirlpool) can schedule service is a whole week away. Even after resetting the breaker, the display is still dark. No way to use either of the ovens now. Guess I'll be searching recipes for pan-fried food for the holidays. Even when the control panel was working, the keypad wasn't very responsive to touch and although there are two ovens, there is only one timer. I fear this one's a lemon. Performance The double oven on this range suddenly stopped functioning Ease of Cleaning Cook top is easy to clean but also easy to scratch, be careful. Ease of Use The cook top works fine, but the controls are a bit confusing. The ovens are not easy to use because they stopped functioning completely. When the control panel was working, it was not very responsive to touch. Durability After 10 days, the control panel for both ovens and the cook top warming area stopped functioning. The rubber gasket around the cook top already appears to be worn. Design This range is very attractive, but has some design flaws in function.

This oven is just beautiful to look at! But beyond that, it works so well. I have wanted a double oven for years and this oven was my dream come true. The controls are easy to understand. For myself, I found no learning curve to operating this oven. The food cooks evenly and after checking the temperatures with my own thermometer, I have found this oven to be very accurate! It works so well and my bread making is at an all time high! The only draw back that I have found is that it doesn't alert me when the glass top is hot. Other than that, this oven has great capacity, and it is so nice to be able to cook a couple of things at a time. Capacity For being a double oven, it is great! No storage tho- keep that in mind. Performance Temps are accurate and it does a great job cooking food. Ease of Cleaning The self clean feature actually works! And works well. Ease of Use The controls are intuitive with no learning curve. Durability This oven is well made and seems like it will last a long time. Design Just looking at the picture tells you all you need to know - this oven is stunning.

My wife has been wanting a double oven stove for years. When our old stove died, we bought this one and were happy from the start. The heating coils under the ceramic/glass smooth top actually light up like LED's signifying that they are heating. The cooktop is easy to clean and keep clean...scratches aren't a problem, especially because we followed the rules and don't use cast iron pans on it. The controls are very user friendly (and MAN friendly, too!) by allowing you to start cooking at a later time (example that Thanksgiving Turkey that you normally have to get up at 3am to start...stick it in the oven set the timer and it starts at 3am for you!. And the convenience of having 2 ovens!!! WHEW!! We can bake, broil and oven cook all at the same time! This also has a VERY nice convection feature that decreases the cooking time by about 1/3 and automattically decreases the time to cook on the timer based on convection. The self cleaning feature actually works too...no left over black crust to clean out. Really cool! One downside...the adjustable feet on the bottom are plastic screw-type feet that bend/break very easily if you move the range. We had to move it out and back because we were putting in new flooring. The feet bent the sheet metal they were screwed into and when we tried to put them back, they shredded. We had to go to a local repair shop and get metal feet.
