Tis machine has caused me issues since we bought it. Load Capacity It does hold a good amount of clothing and seems to dry them well, when it works properly. Performance My machine is continually getting plugged up with lint. No matter how often we clean the trap, which is normally BEFORE and AFTER each load, this machine is continually over heating from lint overload. Ease of Use It is very easy to use and the control buttons in the front are wonderful, but again, only when the machine is working properly. Durability This machine should work for many years considering the cost of it, but not for me. I have spent almost as much in repairs as I paid for it originally. Design The placement of the lint trap is the biggest flaw of this machine. It is not designed in a way that allows for any 'forgetfulness'. One time not emptying the trap will result in the lint falling through the machine. Just don't understand why they thought this was a good set-up.

I have had this dryer for at least 5 years. The lint catcher doesn't fit properly into the front. All my shirt straps catch on it and get torn. The lint gets blocked up inside and we have to have someone come out and clean it for us once a year or so. If we don't than it takes like 2 hours to dry one load. Design The design of the lint catcher is very flawed.

My husband bought me the Maytag Neputne front load dryer to go with the washer a few years ago. This was an excellent purchase and worth every penny that we paid. The dryers are expensive but they are worth it. The Maytag Neptune dryer works great and is easy to use. We also bought the risers to go with the dryer (and the washer) I would not recommend purchasing those. They shake the whole house and the dryer shakes when it is on top of the riser. Otherwise I think that this was a great purchase. I have not had any problems at all out of this dryer.It has wrinkle control settings, delicate settings and a lot of great options. It works great and looks great and is very user friendly. I love the front load on both the washer and dryer. I would definately recommend this Maytag dryer for anyone that is in the market for one! It was everything that I expected and wanted and much more! It gets four stars from me!

I got this nice dryer from Maytag that is very durable and easy to use. The dryer is same look as the washing machine so side by side they look pretty good. They are both bulky so they are not stackable which could be a small minus. The door is a front load and it opens really wide so it becomes easy to load and unload. When the door is opened a light comes on for better viewing what is inside the dryer. The compartment is fairly large, not sure of the actual capacity but it makes space for more than one wash load. The filter that needs to be checked before each use is just under the door and very easy to take out and clean before I start it. The knops and wheel match the washer and they are really easy to use with the layout. In the middle there is a moisture indicator so I can constantly monitor how much longer to go before the clothes are ready. I have had the dryer for a few years and it never had any problems even it was used almost daily. I would recommend this to a friend any time.

We bought this dryer along with the matching washing machine and I love it. We have a family of 4 and I cloth diaper, so we have a ton of laundry. This machine is fast and does a good job. I have found that larger loads on the normal cycle have come out a bit damp. There is a sensor that's supposed to tell when the clothes are dry so maybe that's just off a big. I like the wrinkle free option that keeps tumbling until you empty it. I like that I can set both the heat and the time on the manual function. It's not too loud and the "buzzer" is pleasant. The best feature for me is the option to lock all the controls. I've had too many other instances where some child has stopped the load and I'm pushed back on my schedule!

I purchased a Neptune Washer/Dryer set over five years ago.  Both units have continued to perform without a single problem.  The dryer size capacity of the Neptune is great for a family as it handles even large loads in a short period of time.  This saves me time, and costs of energy when I'm able to run larger loads.  This dryer is in an attached, non airconditioned portion of our home, which means the dryer has been exposed to high dessert temperatures without failure.  As far as dryers go, this particular model is very quiet and easy to operate.  There is a wide range of temperature settings, with either automatic timing, or set time turnoff.  The design of the dryer's ventilation, and lint removal make for easy installation, and operation maintainence.  I would recommend this dryer to any potential buyer.  Maytag continues to be a company that makes reliable and quality products for use in our home.

**The Maytag Neptune MDE6700A Electric Dryer is in my opinion is the best dryer out there.****This is a large capicity of 7.1. I can easily fit extra large loads. I have 4 children, my husband who is my 5th child & 2 Saint Bernards. This saves me so much time. I love that is is an engery save.This has a sensor dry soit stops when your clothes are dry. This also has every drying option.This easy to use & i also like the chimes instead of a buzzer sound at the end of the cycle. This even has the option for high tone chimes, low tone chimes & no chime options. I was told this could easily dry up 20 full sized bath towels at once & dry them evenly. I just had to try it & believe me it works excellent. The Maytag Neptune MDE6700A Electric Dryer a top quality heavy duty and is well worth the extra money. This dry has saved me both time and money. So now I have more time with my family..Now i will never have to wonder if they are all the way dry or hanging something up that is too big to dry. This is an overall excellent buy.**

This  Maytag neptune dryer is quiet, large and efficient.  Drys large loads in a short period of time.  Has all the necessary settings and gets the job done.  Even jeans!    If you have the set --The clothes come out of the washer almost dry and the tempeture setting  works well with that to cut dry time and gives you savings on your power bill.  But it also has the settings for all those other things that are soft and gentle.  Good price, good efficiency, good savings.
