I bought this maytag dishwasher to replace a 10 year old GE dishwasher that was falling apart. I have had the dishwasher for three months now and I find it cleans the dishes well. It is a beautiful dishwasher in stainless steel and is fairly easy to operate. I do have a few complaints though. I have found even though I put the dish washer on dry dishes my dishes inevitably come out with more water than my previous older dishwasher. I also find plastic food storage containers are ruined quickly in this dishwasher. I am guessing the heat of the water may be causing that damage. I also find this dishwasher to be bigger on the inside I never seem to be able to get all of my dishes in there like my old one. There tends to be a handful of four to five dishes that will not fit in this dishwasher. I do like how the dishwasher has the steam santize function which I have used to clean the grates above my stove top. It worked very well. This dishwasher also opens out very low to the floor than older models. Which in turn allows you for more space for "tall" pots and pans. One of its best features is how quiet it is. It isn't perfectly silent. You will here a pop or swish now and again, but overall it is very quiet compared to our previous dish washer.
