Love it but I am having a problem now after 4 years. About every 2-3 weeks it leaks water under the refrigerator and runs out. Not a lot but some. Have taken it apart but can't find where it comes from. Any one else have this problem?

I was very excited to finally have a refrigerator and freezer combo with the drawer on the bottom. It has a good amount of space in the top refrigerator compartment. I love the ice maker and water dispenser. It is very convenient with a family of 6. I love the amount of space in the freezer drawer space as well. My problem with this particular unit is the freezer. After only owning this unit for around a month, the magnet seal on the drawer stopped holding it closed like it should and ice crystals began to form on all of our frozen food because the drawer would not stay closed tightly. This is unfortunate because we really do love the way this unit looks in our kitchen and I really wanted a refrigerator and freezer made like this one. I would not be able to recommend this product to my friends or family, however.

Highly recommend this refrigerator! There is a lot of storage space in it, and I am in love with the freezer on the bottom (and I also like the ice/water dispenser, of course!) Noise Level Noise? What noise? I can barely hear it running!! Interior Organization The layout of this Maytag is exceptional. There is plenty of room for everything you need! The engineers who designed this did their job well! Temperature Control The Maytag refrigerator has a digital display on the outside of the refrigerator with their recommendation of what you should set it at (and this is actually where you control the temperature). I have found that I don't need to set it as low as they recommend. There are also fruit, vegetable and meat/cheese (or that's what I use it for) drawers where you can set the temp as well. Ease of Cleaning Maytag has made this the easiest refrigerator that I personally have ever had to clean. All of the compartments are removable as well as the shelves,etc. Durability Maytag has high quality products and this refrigerator is no exception. I have had no issues with my Maytag and they are known for their durability and last for many years. Design One of my favorite parts of this design is the freezer on the bottom. It frees up so much space on top it's truly awesome. I have never owned a refrigerator with this much capacity! It is by far my pick of refrigerators!

Maybe I am not use to the french door design, but it seems is smaller even with the same capacity than my old one. I do wish there were a bit more capacity in the refrigerator. The icemaker takes up over half of the refrigerator. I don't like that there is no choice for crushed ice.The water disperser is not that good specially if you want to fill water bottles but teh filtered water taste awesome!!! Noise Level The ice maker makes a noise but it does not last the long. Interior Organization Very nice that you can adjust the shelves at different levels. The ice maker takes a lot of space but I rather have it than not. Temperature Control The drawers have the tempeture control to keep you veggies crispy.The filtered water is great but the best part is the ice cold milk we enjoy from the beverage chiller. Ease of Cleaning Some places are hard to reach to clean but overall is ok. The stainless gets very dirty easy. Would be very nice if it will have the fingerprint protection.I am just a little unhappy with the finish on the outside of the door. Durability It seems very durable but it is easy to scratch. I put a magnet on the stainless steel surface a nd scratched really easy. Avoid magnets. Design The design looks very elegant. The stainless is very shinny. The control panel is very nice and modern. Very trendy.

We replaced a 4 year old GE fridge that literally fell apart on us with this Maytag. FRIDGE: It is pretty well organized. My favorite features are the spill proof glass shelves, a compartment specifically for chilling a bottle of wine and ice cubes that fit in a water bottle (awesome!) I wish that it included a butter compartment or drawer so I didn;t have to use an entire door shelf for that purpose and I really wish it had a separate meat drawer. There are 2 produce drawers, we use one for fruit and one for veggies, then a long "deli drawer" with a removable divider. This forces you to store meat and deli items in the same drawer, and the divider will definitely not prevent juices from leaking into my deli items. I have been making sure our meat is in a ziploc or other well sealed container to prevent this, but it is a minor hassle. Love the bright LED interior lights as well. One minor annoyance that is not specific to this model, but to French door fridges in general is if you open the left side of the fridge, you have to open the right as there is a seal in the middle. We store milk and other items we reach for frequently on the right to reduce the contsant opening of both doors. FREEZER: holds pretty much the same amount as our old counter depth did, but it is much easier to keep organized and see the contents. A bonus is you don't end up with a lb of frozen hamburger on your toe when you open the freezer and contents fly out. Hopefully we will get years of dependable use out of this fridge!
