The previous owners of my home had left a large older microwave that they used on the counter. I knew there was limited counter space and the old microwave took up way too much of it. So I decided to go with an over the stove model to give myself the most counter space possible. Your home looks much more organized with as little as possible on the counters. Performance This microwave has performed well for me. I have had this microwave for four and a half years. I do not have a lot of counter space and I love the fact that this microwave is attached to the cupboards over my stove and out of my way. Settings/Features Great features on this microwave. There are several different settings for varios items including auto defrost, popcorn, vegetables, baked potatoes, and pizza slices. It has a timer and clock. One of the features I enjoy is the fact that you can shut off the sound. When food is done you do not have to listen to that annoying beep! Ease of Cleaning I just wipe out the microwave with a damp cloth and remove the glass bottom to washwith dishes whenever needed. I do try to cover things that are going to splatter so I have less clean up period. Ease of Use Very easy to figure out. When in doubt about anything I get out the instruction booklet. Very clear and understandable instructions for everything including the various power settings. Durability As I stated before I have this microwave for four and a half years with only one problem. It stopped working completely (clock and timer worked) about two years ago. The repairman came out from where I had purchased the microwave. I felt foolish as he unplugged and replugged the cord and the microwave worked! The instructions did state to try this if it wouldn't work. I had figured it couldn't be that simple! Design Very good looking over my stove. Convenient place for it, also.
