I like the way the spool was created because it is curved so it will fit around the eye. Along as it gets into the tiny areas around the inner eye and along the lower lashes without getting onto my skin next to my lashes. It does help make my lashes voluminous, thicker, and longer.Downfall it really smells.

I purchased Maybelline Volum' Express Waterproof Mascara about a year ago. This was the first mascara I ever used, as I have only recently have taken an interest in makeup. First, let's start with the spool on this mascara. I absolutely love it! The spool is curved to go along with the shape of your eye which is so convenient! The size of the spool is just right as well. My only complaint is that the bristles on the spool are a little too close together for my liking. Now on to the actually mascara formula. Although I like it, it isn't amazing. I find that it gets a little clumpy and the mascara dries out in the bottle fairly quickly. I do like that it doesnt make my eyelashes stiff as a board, which can be a problem with many mascaras. If you are one of those people that care lot about making their eyelashes perfect, I wouldn't recommend this. However, if you are just looking to add a bit of thickness, this is your pick!

Maybelline's Volum' Express Waterproof Mascara works great! I've purchased this mascara multiple times and have been happy with it everytime. The thing I love most about this mascara is that it really gives you lot of volume to your lashes and gives you a very pretty look. This is actually one of the cheapest mascaras I can find, and I think it is amazing that you can get a product that works so well for this cheaply! As far as how waterproof it is, it works well. In the summer while swimming (and even going under the water) it stays put. Now, like with nearly any mascara, once you rub your eyes, it might run and even get all over. So the key as with any "waterproof" mascara is to just dab underneath your eyes but not to actually rub your eyes and therefore make your mascara run all over. I've always used the black shade (not sure of specific name) and have loved it. I'm sure that if you try this mascara, you'll be very happy with it.

I am a huge makeup buff and love trying new products, particularly mascara since I don't have the longest lashes. I especially love mascaras that boast to improve length and volume. However, Maybelline Volum' Express Waterproof Mascara was somewhat disappointing to me. It serves its purpose as a mascara and darkens them, but as far as creating more voluminous lashes, it did not deliver. I felt that you needed several coats to even create a look of more volume. The problem with that is that it becomes flaky quite easily and I very often had it flaking into my eye! One thing I can say is that it did prove to be quite waterproof, almost to a fault as it was very difficult to remove it at the end of the day, this may be due to the amount I had to apply in order to have an affect, though. I generally am a big fan of all Maybelline products, including the mascara, but for me Maybelline Volum' Express completely missed the mark.

Maybelline Volum' Express Waterproof Mascara is a very good mascara.  I believe one of the reasons this mascara works so well is its brush.  The mascara brush works well to evenly spread the mascara and helps give the eyelashes lift... and yes indeed: Volume!!!  Another very good benefit of Maybelline's Volum' mascara is that it does not easily smudge.  I will forget I have makeup on and rub my eyes, and instead of smearing this mascara will flake slightly, but mostly remain on my eyelashes.  Maybelline's Volum' mascara is very reasonably priced and looks marvelous when put on.  Maybelline is a product that can be trusted to do as it says, and this mascara proves that with the proof of doing as it states: making lashes look longer and higher.  One other major positive about this mascara is that it comes off easily with eye makeup remover or simply soap and water. I think this is one of Maybelline's best product.

I am so glad this mascara is available for a review, it's Maybelline Volume' Express Waterproof Mascara.  I have literally used, and kept coming back to, this particular mascara for about 10 years.  It's thick enough to hold my eyelashes upward..haha..I have really straight thin lashes and I need a mascara that is strong enough to hold them up after I use the curler..and this is the one. It lasts a loooong time too.

I consider my eyes to be the best feature of my face, and as with makeup, you're supposed to accent the best and downplay the worst. So, I am a junkie for mascaras. I have tried so many that I lost count. I've tried all that Maybelline has to offer, some other common drugstore brands, and even more expensive types as MAC and Lancome. And I can tell you that none of these come cloes to the great results of Volume Express. However, let me tell you now that it all depends on your type of lashes. If you have very little and short lashes, I would recommend XXL by Maybelline because it two sided to enhance both volume and length. Or if you happen to have lots of short little lashes, then I would recommend Lancome Lash Stylist to lengthen what you have. For me though, I have extremely long lashes, however very few. So naturally Volume Express works for me, because all I needed to enhance was the appearance of more lashes. If the main thing you're looking for in a mascara is to thicken and give the appearance of more plentiful lashes, then you will not go wrong with Maybelline Volume Express, although they have a much better version of it out now, I believe its called Colossal. It comes in a yellow and black tube rather than a blue one.
