I enjoyed Polly Pockets as a child, and my kids enjoy them now. With that being said, do not waste your money on this product. It looks so fun, however it will not stay together and will not last. You are much better off sticking to buying the Polly Pocket dolls and letting them come up with their own speedway.

This Polly Pocket set is a total piece of garbage. It is flimsy and doesn't seem to really fit together in a sturdy manner. It does not stand up to any kind of rough play. The figures get stuck at different parts of it, and kids get frustrated with it. There are other good Polly Pocket sets out there, but this is not one of them.

The set itself was a lot of fun for my daughter once we got it put together. The problem was keeping it together. We ended up gluing it together which made it hard to store. I have had similar problems with other play set for the Polly Pocket dolls. My recommendations are to put it together before giving it to a child, my daughter got very impatient waiting for it to be ready to played with.

This set reminds me of a boys toy car set, which is not a bad thing, except the boys I have keep taking it from their sisters and play with it. Most of the parts are not that durable and are hard to clean. Otherwise the girls do like it and use it occasionally. It does break easily, like most polly pocket products I have gotten my girls over the years. Has a lot of small parts and do not recommend for younger kids.

My daughter received the Polly Pocket Race to the Mall toy for her 5th birthday.  She really enjoyed it and still plays with it a year later.  The set comes with about 10-12 cars and all the cars have mini doll and purse that hooks on to the car magnetically.  The race car set is very cute, very girly, and the first toy all the kids run to when they come over to our house.  My daughter like how there is a device that will shoot the cars, so they go around the loop and then onto the track.  There is also a mechanical belt that pulls the cars up a ramp and they go around the track with momentum until they reach the mechanical ramp again.  So there is no remote controls or anything.  My only complaint about the toy is that the track snaps apart too easily.  So you can't move it without having to take it apart and if it gets bumped, it will come apart.  It's annoying, but a typical problem with race car sets.  Other than that it's a fun toy.

My daughter received this as a Christmas gift a couple of years ago. It has a fairly average set-up time. The "mall" portion of the toy is very, very small and is not really a playable area. The cars "race" around the outside of the mall area, which makes it even more difficult to play with. It's more fun to play with the mall area of the toy during the set up process (before the track is put around it).  The Polly Pocket Race to the Mall is a lot of fun to play with, but it does fall apart quite easily. The tracks are only linked together and do fall apart if you are not careful. This toy can not be used on carpeted surfaces. The mechanism that is used to release the cars is underneath the track. When you push on the buttons to release the cars, a little lever underneath the track needs to be against something flat and hard in order to operate. The Polly Pockets used in this toy are very small. Don't be confused that these are the traditional sized Polly Pockets. The cars about the size of Hotwheels and the Polly Pockets are small enough to fit inside. It's a lot of fun, but I would worry about this toy if there were small children around who might put these small parts into their mouths. Batteries are required for the escalator portion of the toy.  Another word of caution:  If you do buy this toy, be sure that you have a box or bag to store this toy in.  The tracks and other small parts can very easily get lost and that makes this toy pretty useless.

    This Polly and her pal will race through the big city to take the flag at the mall finish line. Simply place Polly and Lila in the 2 cars at the gate, push the button, and watch them fly! Or slowly guide the cars for continuous cruising, up the elevator and around the town. Besides dashing to the shopping center, your little friends can dine, shop, and pause for the spectacular view from the sky-high observation deck. This is a cool toy for kids who love polly pocket a they will have a blast playing with it.

"I want that, I want that...MOM I gotta have that!"  When my daughter saw the commercial for the **Polly Pocket PollyWheels Race To The Mall** track, I thought she was gonna pass out from excitement! Ever since she was old enough, my daughter has loved to play with other kids' (usually boys) race tracks.  She loves Hot Wheels cars and always asked for the hot wheels tracks.  I never bought her one, cuz they are for boys right? Not anymore! Polly Pocket had a novel idea.  How about a race track for girls?  And they race to the mall?  Great concept!  Unfortunately the design and durability of this product is not great.  The track is flimsy, it falls over.  It's not durable at all.  Most of the time the cars can't get around the loop at the beginning of the track.  The worst part of this toy is the noise. It's SO loud...to the point of being unbearable.   The **Polly Pocket PollyWheels Race To The Mall** track also is very large, requiring a lot of floor or table space to play.  My daughter still loves to play with the track even with all the problems along the way.  Unfortunately, I'm not sure how much longer it will last in a household full of kids.
