My husband and I use this appliance twice a week, at the very least, to cook our dinner or sides and it is absolutely wonderful. It's a great value and really does a great job cooking! Thus far, we've only used the deep frying mechanism but it works very smoothly and is just perfect for cooking fries, tots, fried chicken, onion rings, really anything that can be deep fried. Although it's not the healthiest thing in the world, it really simplifies things and is very easy to use and clean (which is a huge plus in my book!). It also has a built-in temperature gauge that is very useful in pre-heating according to what you might be cooking. The only thing that I can complain about is the time it takes to actually heat up. Overall we have been nothing less than pleased with our Masterbuilt Electric Fryer, Boiler, and Steamer and would highly recommend it to anyone, especially those who need something to help them be more time efficient while still cooking delicious food! ****

We use this fryer for holdiays as we bake one turkey as fry another since we have a large family. The meat comes out very moist. We have never had a dry one. It looks attractive on the counter and has a drain spout for easy clean-up. The unit is very light to carry and very manageable. The basket has drain clips so it can be set on edge of unit for draining. It will hold up to a 14 lb. turkey. This size turkey is done in 57 minutes. The oil/water does take approximately 1 hour to heat prior. Great for seafood, fried chicken, french fries, potatoes, corn on the cob, and even hot dogs!
