The first time a tried Mary Kay moisture rich lipstick was at a party. The color I tried and ended up buying was apple berry. Mary Kay has such an awesome selection of colors to choose from and all of the lipsticks are creamy and are made of long lasting high quality ingredients.

I wasn't planning on purchasing a lipstick when I went for a consultation. I mainly wanted some foundation or concealer for my skin. Not only did I find what I was looking for, but I also was fortunate enough to try their lipstick. It is amazing. It's smooth and has a nice consistency, and the color is what I have been looking for. I was surprised and impressed.

I just want to clarify that I don't eat or taste lipstick, but when it's that close to your mouth after putting it on your lips, you can practically taste it, much less smell it. Anyway I do love the colors and staying power of Mary Kay's lipsticks and glosses, but their lipstick leave an icky taste in my mouth. bleck   Still, it's just about worth the taste to wear the great look.

I never could keep my lipstick on for more than a couple of hours, until I started using Mary Kay.  The lipstick stays on the longest of any other brand out there and I love the way it feels and looks.  I even had compliments about my lipstick and love telling people that is it Mary Kay.

Love the prices but the product sucks. Everytime I try it, although the consultant promises that they've made adjustments and new formulas that are hypo-allergenic -- my lips break out!!! A bunch of tiny itchy bumps.  I've used other products (cheap and pricey) and I don't get the problems that Mary Kay gives me.....I've tried on at least 3 occassions so I've done my share of trying to support friends who become consultants.  The product doesn't work for me.

**This product in a nutshell is: **every lip-product junkie's dream!  Mary Kay brand lipsticks come in vast array of flattering colors and have a luscious, silky texture that really make the colors last all day without feathering or fading. I have been a Mary Kay client on and off for about 10 years.  Some of the products are stellar, perform well, and last all day, whereas others completely stink and made my face look a little worse for wear.  Lipsticks from this line are one of the few things that I gravitate towards when I place an order with a consultant.  They are amazing!  I have yet ti be dissatisfied with any of the colors or performance of these lipsticks. I like my lips to have more of a matte finish for daytime, so I apply a lip balm prior to putting on lipstick.  (My favorites are Softlips Lip Protectant, of which I have reviewed on this site, and Bonne Bell Lip Smackers.)  Usually, I apply lipstick straight from the tube, but for a more matte look that really stays in place, I'll use a lip brush and paint it on.  The finished look is very lovely and really stands out.  My favorite shade is "Mocha Freeze" which is a metallic brown with an understated shimmer.  The color lasts all day and is so flattering!  My lips feel great and look a smidge more plump when I use a matching lipliner.  Mary Kay Creme Lipstick is long-lasting also.  It survives my morning cup of joe and does not need to be reapplied until it's time for dinner and drinks. **I give this product 5/5 stars because: **it makes my lips look and feel sexy and beautiful.  Mary Kay, in my mind, is THE leader in lip products and if they ever get rid of the Mocha Freeze shade, I'll just cry!  Boo hoo!

I have reviewed many, many Mary Kay products with much enthusiasm. I am an avid Mary Kay user and I love all their products but, their lipstick is not one of my favorite products. They come in great shades, so many to choose from, I like how they go on smoothly, and it does not feel sticky or messy. My biggest problem is that it does not last very long. I have to reapply it often which can be a bit frustrating. Maybe I am missing something or applying it wrong but I really do wish it would last longer. Basically I love the product except for it's longevity. Some may say it is too expensive and maybe it is compared to some that are long lasting. So I guess I don't really have an opinion on price. I continue to use it though because like I stated above I love that are so many shades to choose from and so many other lipsticks I have tried feel so goopy or sticky and Mary Kay lipstick does not feel that way. So if you don't mind reapplying your lipstick go ahead and buy because other than that it is a great product.

I have been using Mary Kay products for several years, but I didn't buy their lipstick until recently. I usually buy the long-lasting lip color that several make-up brands offer. However, I liked that I could view how the lip colors looked on me on the Mary Kay site by uploading a picture of myself. I found a lipstick color I liked, so I decided to try it out. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the color looked great on me and it lasted all day without me having to reapply it. Although it is a bit pricey, considering it lasts all day, I would compare its price to other long-lastinf lip colors. When you do that, the price is pretty similar. I have been very satisfied with my purchase, and I will purchase more colors in the future to try out. I would highly recommend this product for women who want a great choice of colors for a lipstick that will last through most of the day. The only con is the price and that youy will leave some lipstick behind when you eat and drink.

Mary Kay Lipstick- All shades or products are not really all that impressive in my personal opinion. Mary Kay has a lot of colors that say they are different by name but the color on the lips are about the same. The lipstick does not condition, it just puts color on the lips and then they color wipes off soo quickly. Most lipsticks stay for at least a couple hours but the Mark Kay Lipsticks that I have purchased do not. This lipstick does not last after the first few sips of the coffee cup. There are also not a lot of variety of colors to choose from. AN example would be downtown brown and gingerbread, they are both regular browns but they look the same and are drab. The colors that seem bright in the tube are not once placed on the lips. They just have a really dim look to them. Even putting lipgloss over Mary Kay lipstick does not help it as much as it would if the color wasn't so drab from the beginning. When I do where one of my Mary Kay lipsticks I make sure I have a lipgloss that is a similar color so it can enhance the brightness and conditioning of my lips. There are just many more impressive lipsticks out other than this one.
