One of the worst mascaras of ever tried did absolutely nothing for my extremely long and volumize lashes

This is a very good mascara. It lasts all night but it is a little more than what I would normally spend on a mascara. If you're looking for a small splurge on a budget this is your product. I would even recommend this as a gift basket or make up kit for someone as well. It comes in a convenient little tube with an easy applicator brush. The wand brush makes it an easy on-the-go tool to really dress up the day. It really enhances the lashes and gives a nice bold, yet natural, look. Performance This product definitely lasts all night and really enhances your look for the night. It is also pretty easy to take off at the end of the night as well. It is a quick but efficient application. A bit pricy but definitely worth the little splurge. Ease of Application Easy brush application. Very easy and quick applicator wand. It is easy to take off at the end of the night as well. It does not feel too heavy or clumpy when applying this particular brand.

I have never worn makeup and started doing so because my daughter is a girly girl and I figured I need to at least learn for her. So I asked my friend for recomandations since she is a Mary Kay Representative. She recommended the Lash Lengthening mascara, she wears it all the time and she loves the product. I got it and started wearing it. I love it. It doesn't clump on your lashes which I was worried about and it doesn't smear. It's easy to remove. It does lengthens your eye lashes which I love because my eye lashes are not that long so I like the way it makes my eyes look when I am wearing it, which is all of the time now. Performance It does what it says. If you are looking for a great lengthening mascara this is it Ease of Application Very easy. Dries quickly

Really happy I tried this. Didn't clump or flake. This is my new go to everyday mascara. I like defined long lashes not globby chunky ones and this delivered. If you want fat lashes try something else but this is perfect as far as I'm concerened. Performance Stayed on added length

I have used Mary Kay Lash Lengthening Mascara for many years.  I can not leave the house without it on my eyes.  What a difference it makes - my eyes just pop out when I am wearing this mascara!  I have always used the black mascara - it looks great with my dark hair, etc.  It is so easy to use and never gets "clumpy" or "lumpy" - it stays smooth on the applicator brush.  The brush's contour is fantastic and makes the application so easy.  It dries quickly and never smears.  It lasts all day and I never need to reapply during the day.  It is very easy to remove in the evening.  My lashes seem to just grow when I apply the mascara - it makes them look super long and luscious!  Mary Kay Lash Lengthening Mascara is worth every penny that I spend on it.  It is a little pricy - but, it is worth it.  One product will last me for a very long time - often up to 8 months of everyday use!  It is one great product!

Don't get me wrong: I love Mary Kay products; the majority of my skincare and makeup is Mary Kay.  But I just have not been impressed with the mascara.  I found it to be very clumpy; and doesn't do a great job of separating my eyelashes.  I like the big pretty look; not all clumped together and spidery.  I've used both black and brown/black...and they're so similar I can't really tell a difference.  The water-proof is definitely water proof; it can be hard to remove. The brush often comes out of the tube all yukky and I have to scrape off the excess, which just sets one up for clumpy eyelashes. And it is especially hard to do the lower lashes with some much goop on the brush.  Sometimes I wipe the entire brush off on a tissue. Mary Kay is a bit more expensive than drug store mascara - and often you're paying for better quality.  But not in this case.  This mascara is not worth the price.  I'll find another brand.

I am not a Mary Kay representative, just a more loyal customer.  I have been using different kinds of other brands for mascara for years.  I thought I didn't like Mary Kay's new mascara formulas, but my rep told me that they just improved them (again.)  In the past, I would only use waterproof formulas.  However, lately they make my eyelashes feel heavy and irritate my eyes, and I often want to remove the mascara just hours after application.  However, I thought it was just me - until my rep told me that waterproof mascara tends to irritate due to their chemical makeup.  She had me try the Lash Lengthening version of Mary Kay.  I have to admit that she was right!  Now mascara isn't irritating or bothersome - it actually feels weightless, and I often forget that I have it on.  Yes, this isn't waterproof - but it seems to be fairly water resistant.  I haven't changed my habits or lifestyle since using this, and no raccoon eyes have showed up on my face.  Give it a chance.  Oh yes, one more thing... NO CLUMPS!

I love this mascara. It goes on so easy and really does enhance the look of lashes. It gives the appearance of long full lashes and lasts all day! Also, it's easy to remove. Its priced very reasonable also. My new favorite mascara.

My boyfriend bought me Mary Kay Lash Lengthening Mascara a few months ago. It's not a water-proof mascara (which is what I usually use, being from a place in Oregon where it rains 70% of the year) but I can honestly say as far as non water-proof mascara goes, this is by far my favorite. It's easy to apply and goes on clump free. It gives lashes a realistic natural looking length boost (but nothing over the top) and doesn't flake quickly at all. The brush is small which helps prevent accidents (such as getting mascarra on your eye lids.) It doesn't hold up too well in heavy rain but last all day when not wet. For me it's only a summer mascarra. But I'd definately recommend it to someone living in a dryer climate! The cost wasn't very cheap but it was well worth it!
