I was a Mary Kay consultant for about a year. I know a lot about this product line. There are many things that I like and some that I don't. I really love the facial cleansers and the hand lotions. I also love the lipglosses and lipsticks. The items that I don't recommend are mostly eye products. I am someone who loves eyeshadows. I love shadows that have big color payoff and come in all the colors of the rainbow. I find that many of Mary Kay's shadows are muted colors most suited for a work environment. The shadows do not have much color payoff. When you apply them, the color looks much lighter than the way that it looks in the palette. In addition, you have to do a lot of layering in order to even get the shadows to make an impression. I also do not recommend using Mary Kay's line of brushes. There are much cheaper brushes that apply better. These brushes shed a lot! My best advice with the Mary Kay line is to pick and choose what products you like. The good thing about Mary Kay is that you actually get to see how the products look on you before you buy them.

Mary Kay was founded as a company to inspire women. There are no glass ceilings so women (and men) can promote themselves to whatever level they desire. Mary Kay also works to end domestic violence as well. There are no territories are sales quotas which appeal to a lot of people.

Over a great many years I have bought the odd Mary Kay product. A couple of times it was friends having parties, and as I love beauty products, I can never resist buying. A product I recently found, while sorting out beauty products to give to my daughter, and grand-daughters in England, was the Mary Kay Signature Brow Definer Pencil. I have a few white brow hairs now, so was delighted to try it again. It covered them up, so I didn't have to pluck hairs, that would have spoiled the shape of my brows. Mary Kay you came to the rescue for me.

Mary Kay is an all around awesome cosmetics and skincare line for everyone and every skin type. I have especially oily and acne prone skin. The Deep Cleanser 3, Blemish control toner and oil control lotion is my daily and evening routine and my best friend. I've tried a lot of different products for my skin and this is the best I've ever used. To me the products are well worth the cost and they last for 2-3 months. I'm a big fan of the satin lips set and satin hands collections. They exfoliate and hydrated your skin leaving it silky smooth. Satin hands is really good for the elbows too. I really like their medium coverage liquid foundation and pressed powder. They don't feel heavy and cakey like most liquid foundations do. All in all the is a great product line and would encourage anyone to give it a try!!

Ok so for having experience selling Mary Kay in the past, I always heard somebody say how much they love the products. To be honest even though I was selling them I never used them until I was asked by a customer how I liked it. So I started using it so I could give my opinion. Which was now that I loved it!! Its a little up there in price but well worth it. The company has so many products to choose from and so many made for different types of skin. What I loved was there was someone to always ask advice to on what to try and how to use it. I haven't sold Mary Kay in awhile but I still use the products and would still recommend the products to anybody who is looking for new cosmetics to try. I love the fact that while making their products the company does not test on animals and in this day that is hard to find. I'm not selling anymore but Mary Kay is a product I will always use in the future.

My mother is a Mary Kay consultant, and I have used Mary Kay products for almost 5 years.  I don't wear a lot of make up, but I do try to take care of my skin.  I love the Mary Kay line of skincare.  The Timewise set is amazing.  I noticed within just a few days of using the cleanser and moisturizer that the redness in my skin dissappeared.  The Timewise line also has a night serum as well as a day serum.  I don't use those very often so I can't really comment on them.  I also really like the microdermabrasion set.  It works so well.  If you miss a spot, you can actually tell the difference in  your missed spot and the parts you actually covered.  This set has a microdermabrasion scrub that gets rid of the top, damaged layer of skin, but it does so very gently, and painlessly.  The next step is a rejuvenating lotion that helps replenish your skin.  The only con that I can advise about is the price.  The whole set is rather expensive, however you don't need to use a lot, so it lasts for a long time.  Overall I really like Mary Kay products and highly recommend them to everyone.
