We love this stroller! We were given a single Maclaren Triumph when my oldest daughter was born and loved it. When our second daughter was born I struggled with my love for the single Triumph vs. the need for a double stroller. I finally bit the bullet and bought a double Triumph and it has been a lifesaver. My sanity has been saved by this thing! My favorite features are that it collapses and folds with one hand, is adjustable for each child and it folds so compactly for storing in the car. I can honestly say that it was worth every penny. The only draw back that I have found is that when the stroller is empty it tips easily, but that happens with any umbrella style stroller. My kids are 2 and 4 now so we don't use it quite as often but the kids love to ride when we do. Maclaren makes an incredible product! Child Comfort The optional sun shade would be a good thing to purchase. The canopy doesn't do a great job of blocking the sun, but nothing that a blanket over or the sun shade won't fix. Maneuverability Fits easily through any doorway! Rare to find in a side by side double stroller.

I bought this stroller for my then 1 1/2 yr old twin boys (now 3) and loved it it fit through any door, moved with ease and even reclined almost flat for those to long for them days (such a plus I hate to see kids necks hanging awkwardly in traditional umbrella strollers) and that was enough to make me love this stroller but then I got pregnant with my second set of twins and still have the same stroller!!! For local runs (meaning walking no car seats) all I had to add was a head pillow for the babies (the one from their car seats matched and fit right in BONUS!!) and this stroller is still in my family!! We love it! Durable dependable and comfortable what more could you want in a stroller!! Safety Love the 5point buckle had a kid on a bike almost run us over and even with some quick maneuvering no baby whiplash Child Comfort Both sets of my twins would be sleeping so soundly that we would be home 20 mins before I would take them out of the stroller (didn't want to wake them up) Maneuverability Front wheels get funny every now and again ( but we have had ours for 3 years) Durability This stroller has made it through very busy twin boys and is still being used on my second set of twins! 3 years and counting!

My wife and I disagree strongly about this stroller. She likes it because its (relatively) light and compact. I dislike it because its difficult to push and does not have great storage. Although its over 10lbs lighter than our City Elite Double (which I have also reviewed), you need two hands to push the Twin Triumph while you an use only one on the City Elite Double. Another thing I dislike about this stroller is that the kids can put their feet on the wheels, which is not only dangerous but also very dirty and unhigenic. Because the stroller is so low to the ground, the kids feet can get easily from any standing water. As with most strollers, the hood has to be fully deployed if you are using the rain cover. The cover fits well, although if the children's feet are on the foot rest, they can stick out under the bottom of the rain cover and get wet. Another problem with this stroller is that when the seats are in the recline position, the kids can sit up. If you are trying to get the to nap, this is not the best thing. One thing I do like is that the stroller folds up easy and is as compact as is possible with a double. Nevertheless, no doulbe (including this one) meets the 20lbs max weight restriction that some domestic airlines impose for gate-checking strollers (they want the heavier ones checked-in as luggage -- although some exempt it from checked-baggage fees) As with all MacClaren's its well built and sturdy, which count alot for me. When you are talking about keeping your kids safe, nothing is more important. Do I have problems with this stroller? Yes. However, I will continue to use it because it gives me peace of mind Durability I wrote my original review in the summer of 2011. In the fall of 2011 one of the two hinges broke and we had to replace the stroller. Given that we had owned it less than a year, I was quite displeased to have to purchase another (and, given the critical nature of the timing due to the unexpected defect in the stroller, I had to pay "Full Price Plus" from our local store rather than the much lower price I could have found it for on-line).

I have 1 year old twins and was in need of a travel and errand stroller. I have a large double stroller for long walks and zoo trips. I tried a traditional double umbrella that did not have a 5pt harness and after one use it went back to the store. My kids would not stop leaning over the front. The McClaren Twin Triumph is AWESOME. I love the 5pt harness. It has a double button release so the kiddos will not be learning to unsnap that anytime soon. Yet, the straps are easily adjustable and comfortable. There is a bit of a recline in the seats, that is easy to adjust, in case someone gets sleepy. The fold is a bit stiff, but it is not horrible. The release is easy and the fold is small. There is an automatic latch lock when it is folded and a carry handle! This stroller is easy to maneuver, I've even done it with one hand and both kiddos in the stroller. The front wheels can lock if you feel you need it. If you're looking for a lightweight double stroller, this is a great choice!

This stroller is AWESOME!  I loved it so much when I first got it that I would just stroll my older son in it around the house just for fun! ha!  It is the smoothest ride.  Compact enough to fit thru doorways.  Great color.  Good storage under each seat.  I have a 1 & 3 year old and both fit nicely in the seats.  Very comfortable for them.  I love the adjustable back so they can recline.  Easy to fold & release.  I would highly recommend it!
