the mtd chipper shredder is a great machine it starts the first pull every time for me. takes sticks up to 3/4 inch in diameter which is plenty for household projects. has never clogged on me. it works great for the spike balls that fall from the sweet gum tree turns them into great garden soil/ferterlizer.A down side for me is that i got mine used a few years ago and have had a hard time finding any info on it or an owners manuel.But the engine has never gave me problems the construction is solid and it works.
