Miele Quickstick very sturdy sweeper
When my husband and I retired and moved across the country, we left our old vacuum cleaner behind. Our new home has stone tile floors and rugs, but no carpet, so we decided to look for something a little different from the usual upright style. A sales clerk at a local shop suggested the Miele Quickstep 300 vacuum cleaner. It was a little expensive, but since we knew the brand had high marks from Consumer Reports, we decided to purchase it. One thing I like very well is the multilayer, tear-proof dust bag. It holds plenty, is simple to change, and it has a unique closure device that protects you from the dust during disposal. The machine is very sturdy and well made and is much more convenient than a canister style. Yet it still has attachments for upholstery, hard floors and rugs. The only problem is that is pretty heavy to lift and move from area to area, making it tiring to use for very long at a time.
