When I first used this product, I was amazed at the profound difference in shade using this toothpaste resulted in. It was really surprising the difference, probably two or three shades whiter. So as far as whitening goes, two thumbs up. The taste of the toothpaste was okay, not horrible. The texture of the toothpaste, which is a bright fluorescent blue gel, is maybe a little thicker than store bought toothpastes. Taste and texture, also okay. On the down side, my teeth were very very sensitive after. I feel like sometimes, depending on sweetness or temperature I am still feeling the effects of it. I have sensitive teeth normally, so maybe someone who doesn't would fair better with this product. I would definitely use it more often if it didn't make my teeth so sensitive. I've decided it is best reserved for special occasions. :) The rest of the Luster line seems to be getting more and more popular. Hopefully, they can improve the sensitivity issue.

I got Luster white toothpaste to work with a new whitening system I got. I was hoping the two together would make my smile a bit whiter. After years of drinking coffee and tea, and about 10 years of nicotine use in the middle somewhere, my teeth were more yellow then white. Like many people, I am not able to spend a ton of money on teeth whitening systems, but i got a good price on this so I thought it was worth the try. The taste is quite bad until you get used to it, but I am a bit sensitive to taste, and after a few days it wasn't as bad. I took a picture before I started using the Luster White, I had already been using the whitening system for a few days, and I took a picture after 3 days. It wasn't drastically brighter, but for my teeth, I think it was great. Im not so shy about smiling anymore. After a week of using strictly the Luster white, I now only use it 3 times a week. On those 3 days, I will use it in the morning, afternoon, and evening, and my smile has stayed bright.

I am fortunate to have gotten in to a few good campaigns in the last few months and one of them is the Luster Premium white campaign. I received a couple of nice items in my kit. One is the Luster Premium White system and the other is the Luster Premium White Power White Toothpaste. Luster Premium White Power White Toothpaste is a fluoride based toothpaste so it will help fight cavities as it whitens. It is the only toothpaste that combines dental office peroxide plus 45 therapeutic-grade essential oils for a whiter, healthier smile. This formula helps to remove and prevent both deep and surface stains. The toothpaste formula also contains something called eubiotics, these promote a healthy mouth by combining with the bodies chemistry to fight odor causing bacteria that your break with always be fresh when using this. The toothpaste promises to give you whiter teeth in one week, and very good results within 4 weeks. This toothpaste is not for children under 12 years of age. It is not recommended that you swallow this toothpaste. You should use this at least 2 times per day. The Luster White Power White Fluoride Toothpaste comes in a 2.6 oz tube. It has a flip up lid with a larger hole then most toothpastes. The flavor of the toothpaste is called clean mint. The toothpaste itself is white. It appears that about a quarter of my tube had air in it. The flavor is not bad, but not great either, you can pick up the mint flavor but if you leave it in your mouth to long you do pick up a hint of a taste of the hydrogen peroxide. When I am done brushing with this I do feel like my mouth is really clean. My teeth feel really clean and the look really clean as well. I have been using this for a little over a week now and I am seeing obvious improvement in the whitening of my teeth. I do also feel that my breath is a lot fresher, I even felt a cleaner feeling and tasting mouth after eating garlic and that is a good thing. Luster White Power White Toothpaste does cost a lot more than regular toothpastes, but it does whiten a lot better than other regular toothpastes that claim to whiten teeth, personally I have never really seen much of a result from those and I do see it with this toothpaste.

I received this as part of a product test campaign. I have very sensitive teeth and gums. This is advertised as being sensitive free. However, after a few days my mouth was so sore I couldn't chew. My teeth may have been a bit whiter, but not worth the pain. I'll stick to crest sensitive extra whitening paste.

I got this toothpaste on sale, but I would not use it even if it was free. It tastes horrible, which I could stand for the 2min. of brushing. It is the aftertaste that does not seem to go away that I can't stand. I have not brushed my teeth with it for over 6 hours but everything I eat is tainted by the taste I still have in my mouth from this toothpaste. I am starting to wonder if this nasty taste in my mouth is ever going to go away.

I was so excited to try this new product for myself.  It has colorful, eye-catching packaging which makes it look like a superior toothpaste.  However, after first exposure to the taste, I found it unusable.  It was so poor and awful in flavor - there was no way I could use the rest of the tube.  For the high cost and the poor quality in flavor, I would definitely stay away from this brand.  I never had the opportunity too see if it cleaned teeth well, yet I still don't think it is worth the expensive price tag when you don't even want to taste the disgusting taste.  For something that markets itself and "premium" - I would highly recommend to stay away from this product and try a toothpaste where you can actually stand the taste and flavor.  I am sure you can find another brand of toothpaste that would offer you great flavor, great results, an ad more afforable price tage for toothpaste.
