I was frustrated playing racing games with the basic PS3 controller because it didn't feel like I had enough control so I decided to purchase the Logitech G27 Gaming Steering Wheel in hopes it could simulate actual driving. On first inspection this entire driving is extremely realistic, especially the foot pedals. The steel gas, brake, and clutch pedals have phenomenal action that feels very similar to the pedals in my Mustang. Once I connected everything and began to play it felt like I was literally driving a car in my living room. The way the helical system simulates the shifting of gears and the loss of traction is so accurate it's scary. The steering wheel is very smooth and doesn't make a lot of noise when turning. The gear shifter feels very solid, but it make a lot of noise when shifting gears. The only issue I had with the entire system is that the steering wheel attachment loosens up over time and I have to make sure to re-tighten it every once in a while to avoid it coming completely off my gaming desk. I would definitely recommend the Logitech G27 Gaming Steering Wheel because it is the most realistic driving system I have ever owned.
