This is a cheap and sufficient web camera for most uses but if HD type quality and point of use/portability (requires plug in a computer) are big factors, you may want to consider a flipcamera or camcorder. Compatibility It records in both avi. and wnv. Avi is better for video quality. Video Quality The video quality is not all that clear and it seems to alter my voice a little in videos. Some traces of pixelation (when square pixels are visible) can be seen. Ease of Use It is very easy to set up and use. Once you plug it in for the first time a dialog box will appear where you can begin taking pictures or recording. When it does not pop up, I search youcam or cyberlink and it pops up. Its camera head can swivel which is helpful for times where there is not a lot a space to move around. Cord is about 4 feet which allows you to record your computer screen from faraway if necessary (It has a feature to track desktop movements but I believe that requires a purchase so I record my screen instead) Durability Seems like the swivel head could easily break.

This is a great quality web cam, it is high definition (HD), the picture is very clear as well as the audio. It's great for use with skype. It is very easy to use and I love how easy it is to just put on top of your computer. It's great how you can move it too instead of permanently docking it onto your computer monitor.

My in-laws purchased this Logitech Web Cam for us for Christmas one year, knowing that we were about to have a baby and since they lived out of town, this would be a great way for us to communicate with them and share the baby with them, live - so they didn't miss out. Well, it's been great - we love it! It's very easy to use and adjust settings to, however one thing I don't like about it is that if you move too quickly or too much, it'll fuzz the screen up a bit. Or pause it. So while it's great and we're very thrilled and happy to have it, there are cons. They can't always see our baby moving because of how it freezes up the screen. I think that's just the program though - because we use it with Skype and the Skype seems to give a much more nicer picture. Worth getting though, in my opinion, because it's really kept our parents feeling not so far away from us and the baby. I'm not sure about the price because as I said, it was a gift, but I hear it was pretty reasonable compared to the others.

I got this webcam as a gift and I've only had it for about 3 days but I love it. I've bought Logitech products before so I knew that this would be a good webcam. I haven't run into any problems with it yet. It was really easy to install. A CD comes with it if you want to install the logitech software. You can still use the webcam without installing anything on your computer but I recommend installing it because you can play with the webcam controls and effects. The 720p resolution is crisp and clear. I was surprised to learn that it also has a microphone in it. The webcam has a face tracking feature which zooms in and out and tries to get your face right in the center depending on how you're looking at the webcam. You may also turn this feature off if you don't want it to track your face. It also has a motion sensor that you can set up and it will start recording if it senses any motion in your house.

The Logitech C310 Web Cam is a very economical choice for average webcam use. The resolution is not extremely high quality, but it is clear. It does seem to work best in a dark room with a light placed near the correspondent. This web cam captures movement and sound in real time. The sound does pick up background noises, which can interfere. This web cam also includes the option of taking still pictures. This product is very small, and very portable. Although it does not have a clip to hold it on the monitor, it does have a weighted back. The clip rotates up and down, so that the camera can be placed anywhere. The USB cord is too short, which does not allow the camera to be positioned far from the computer. This web cam is easy to install. It may be easily found at any mass retail store for a reasonable price. Perhaps this product would not be the best for professional interviews, but it works well for casual use.

The Logitech C310 is a fantastic web cam to use.   The quality of its 720 p high definition video picture is phenomenal.  The video comes out very clear without any pauses or disruption to fast movements. You also can make you video experiece talking to friends more interesting by using its fun video effects such as, Avatars, Face Accessories, Video Masks and Fun Filters.  The sound is very clear since the microphone is built into the camera, therefore reducing inturpting background noise.  The web cam is also can be used to take still pictures that come out very good.  In addition to these fantastic features, this web cam makes it easy to pass on the videos and pictures to share online with its one click upload feature.  I enjoy using this web cam compared to my old one.  not only is the quality in sound and picture is better, but it also has a sleek and nice look.  Also I like that I am able to clip the web cam to my laptop or let it sit on its own.
