i have bought this product for the past 13 years and would hae recommended it. then over the past year something changed. it doesnt cover the odar as well as the past. when the cats uses it and pees, it forms a super large rock hard chunk almost like cement. i had to use a garden trowel to break it free from box. comes out in large masses- uses way too much litter. would change litter maybe every three weeks, now i add more ever 3-4 days. the litter catches on the cat and sticks to the fur - hard to get off. what happened... dont change whats a good thing!!

After using this litter for 11 years I have changed brands. The new formulation is not as good as it does not clump as well. The 42 lb tub has sliced my hands to shreds trying to open and there is no scoop inside. Cannot lift the tub to pour it. Trying to manage the tubs gets really old since the product has gone downhill in quality.

I have used this litter for many years. For the last year I have noticed it no longer clumps. It addition, it is dusty and has a strong smell. Please bring back the old formulation or I will have to find an alternative product!

I have had cats all my life. This litter is by far the Worst I have ever bought! It tracks everywhere!! The dust covers everything. After 4 days it stinks to high heaven! And that's with scooping it 2xs a day. The dust covers our cat and she gets it on everything. We are throwing out the 1/2 bulk container away, along with the litter box. We never had this many issues with fresh step or arm and hammer ever. Switching back and buying a whole new litter box. Our box has never smelled this rancid!

I love the convenience of the container, no mess, just pour in, I've been using it for 3 years now and I never had to replace it just remove the clumps and poopoo and what's left is clean except i had 3 containers lately that did not clump and I was about to switch brand but because I love that plastic jug container, I decided to give it one more chance and I'm glad I did because the new batch is purrfect just like its name.

The litter is fine. Recently changed from container to tub. It makes this product very difficult to use. Will sadly be changing to another brand because of this. They tried to make this change in the past, but it didn't work out, for some reason. Now they have decided to try again, with some minor modifications. It was probably cost saving for them, but it is too difficult to use with the tub packaging. I am hoping they will return to the container again. I will switch back if they decide to do this.

I love Litter Purrfect. First of all, its an all natural litter so there is none of that horrible, floral nasty scent that so many of the other brands use. Secondly, it lasts a good while and clumps decently. Thirdly, as someone with multiple chemical sensitivities, it is one of few litters that I can actually use that don't make me sick or unable to hold my cats due to the nasty smell. Finally, I had an issue with a jug I bought once and the owner of the company was more than willing to remedy the situation. Good customer service ALWAYS goes a long way in my book! I will say the one drawback is that it is dusty, other than that, I plan on sticking with my Litter Purrfect.

I have used Litter Purrfect SCOOPABLE litter for years and noticed that the last container that I bought is no longer clumping. It leaves a wet mess in the bottom of the litter box and the cats don't like it either. Unless they change back to the old scoopable formula, I won't be buying it again.

I've skimmed through the other comments and decided to leave one. I like the product. Nacho seems to be happy with it too. I've just adopted him a few month back from the pet shelter and he took to it right away! The odor control is working well for me - I clean the litter box about once or twice a week.There isn't much tracking from the litter, the dust is fine as long as I don't lift it high when pouring. The clumping is very good. The jug is quite heavy when full, but it is also what makes it economical. Overall, I think it is a very good value for the money. I will keep buying it
