I remember when we had just moved into a new home, in a new neighborhood, we had lots of challenges with internet connection. There were very few internet companies we could deal with to supply us with internet services at this location. My husband and I were novices by then when it comes to internet services. We were lucky enough to have someone who coud help us. My cousin who is a programmer, recommeneded we buy the Linksys Cisco router, which he had tocame over to the house to help us in setting it up. It was wonderful again to be able to have internet connections at home. With the Linksys Cisco Router, we were able to connect to the internet using our laptops. We used this system for about three years until Century link came to our neighborhood that we finally switched to Century Link becaue it came with its own router. This Linksys Cisco Router is cheap and you get to own your own router unlike the one suplied by the company which they will have to take it away as soon as you are no longer with thier services. Connectivity with this Linksys Cisco Router is good and the little box is portable..

We purchased the Cisco Valet Plus Router on Black Friday last year while it was on sale. We have a a wide variety of devices that connect to the internet in our household all of which work fantastic with the Cisco Valet Plus Router. The devices that we currently use with this router include: desktop, laptop, ipad, iphone, ps3 and the HP 3050a All-In-One ePrint Printer. We have never had any problems with our connection or being out of range. Our connection on all devices are strong. Setup was a breeze thanks to the included usb stick. The instructions were easy to follow and within a few minutes everything was up and running. Connecting our devices to the router was just as simple. Given that I purchased this router on sale I would strongly recommend it. However, even if I had paid full price I would still definitely recommend it as it works great and have never experienced any problems. This is all I could possibly ask for from a router. I rate the Cisco Router 5 out of 5 stars. Performance Excellent connectivity regardless of which room I am in. I have never experienced any connection drops even with multiple devices connected and in use at once.

I have a Linksys Cisco E2500 simultaneous dual-band Wireless router, and really love it. I'm not a computer technician, or really that proficient with computers, but I can tell you that it was pretty easy to set up. I've never had any trouble with the wi-fi that we set up through out RoadRunner service using this router. Also, plugging in the ethernet cable for our blu-ray player works well with this. It is lightning fast - streaming videos is a breeze with this unit. It was a great router at a great price - how could you go wrong? Performance Works great every time! Durability It's fallen down a few times from the computer tower, and there have been no problems with it. I also like the sleek, simple design - it fits well on top of the tower without looking like a cluttered bulky mess. Setup & Ease of Use Easy to set up and use. Service & Support I haven't used this yet, but I imagine it would be ok. I don't want to dock it if I haven't experienced anything bad with it.

This works well only as a BASIC home network system. If you have a laptop and, say a Wii, that you want Wi-Fi access with, then it is okay. If you have a laptop, Wii, Tablet and Netbook (in other words, more then two items to connect) then it's not going to work well. Major overload. We had to upgrade to something MUCH better after we bought our daughter a tablet. Performance Its okay for what it is. Not the best. Not the worst. Durability It was knocked off the shelf where it sat without any ill effects. Setup & Ease of Use Setting it up is super easy and it's really a set it and forget it. Service & Support Customer service is horrible and they don't seem to know a lot to tell you (atleast in terms you can understand)

Roommate bought this for the apartment. Had my X-Box 360, desktop computer, IPod, and his laptop connected to the internet. Able to download items on my 360 and desktop at the same time and my roommate saw little difference on his laptop. Experienced no troubling items with it.

Performance Performance is very good I can go to any rom in my home with my tablet and still connect to wi fi internet. Durability Durability is very good Setup & Ease of Use Setup is easy. The software walks you through everything you need to do. If you have problems you can go online.. Are call the toll free number. Service & Support Linksys has a website that you can go to for help. Are you can call them.

Amazing is all I can say, this router is totally worth it. The cisco router is awesome. I cant stop thinking about the purchase I made. This router can hold up to 50 computers at once and it has a guest setting were your guest can log on and use it privately. Another amazing feature is that this router is very easy to set up. It comes with a USB and you just plug it in and the router sets up by itself. It takes about 20 minutes but you dont have to do anything because it does it by itself. This is the first router that has inc. this feature. If it doesnt work, then all you have to do is call the 24-7 hotline they have for people that have problems. They will help you with any problems and the people are very nice to you. Another thing is that this router supports wireless N which is the best type of router software out at the moment. So if your buying a new router, I recomment you buy this one.

I recently purchased this router, because I purchased a 64 bit computer, and my other router would not withstand it. I got this home and connected it okay, no problems, it connected me xbox360 my wii, but it did not connect my laptop computer, I called the 1-800 number on the enclosed directions, who tried to help me, then they offered to help me for 9.95 even though it was there product and it already cost 100.00, I had spent, I did not want to pay they money, but then they told me they would get my laptop up and running or the 9.95 would be refunded back into my account. Well I really wanted my laptop running so I agreed to do this, if they couldn't they agreed to refund, it, well they could not figure out the problem, so they agreed to refund my money, they said they would send me a confimation email, I asked them what my email was, the first time, they had it wrong and gave them it again, this time he repeated it correctly. well they did not send me and email and they did not refund my money. I had to call someone else to fix my computer and I am out all the money from them. I recommend not paying the 9.95 or anything else unless you plan on losing it, no matter who tells you what.

As I write this review, I'm connected to the internet using a Linksys Cisco Router. I am on my laptop, the router is in another part of the house and I'm having no problems whatsoever. The home computer is connected via ethernet cable, and a Playstation 3 is connected via wi-fi. Everything runs smoothly with no sign of lag. The set up was a breeze, as the computers set up wizard practically did everything itself. Just pop in the cd and follow the pop up instructions. I recently found out my neighbor had a Playstation 3, hooked theirs up wi-fi, and now the kids can play together while each is at home. The range is decent enough to let me take my latop across the street or two houses down either way. All in all I would rate this router a full five stars. The reason being is I connected it a little more than three months ago, and never had to bother it again, and the is the most important thing to me.

I have a Cisco Linksys router. I had not thought about buying a router before, I thought they were just for added security, but when I decide to use an extra desktop at home, I started shopping around and around! This router was one of the mid priced routers, but had more features than most and was overall a better value. It was also very easy to hook-up and get started, even if you are not a "tech geek", you will be off and running in minutes! I didn't have a problems getting my wireless network up and running. I have not had any problems with the Cisco and I have owned it for about 10 months now. I would absolutelybuy this brand again, I would also consider giving it as a gift. Alone or to use as a wireless network, which is what I have, I would recommend this router to anyone. It is high quality, easy to install, easy to use, trouble free, and added security. Most of all, it was a very good value, which we all can use nowadays.
