I got this Lexmark Platinum Pro 905 printer a few weeks ago. The replacement cartridges are not as expensive as other brands I saw and they have more longevity. It is also easy to replace the cartridges. I love that there is a copy feature as well as the printer being wireless. I'm able to have my laptop in another room and print with out hooking it up. Another col feature is the email one, where it emails documents directly from the printer. No problems with this printer, awesome and smart buy, definitely recommend!

This printer is not exceptional, but it is good. The reason we purchased this model is because it offers a reasonable price for replacement ink cartridges compared to HP and others. So far we haven't had any issues with it. The "smart" interface is not very intuitive and is a difficult to navigate.But, to print and scan - it does the job.

This is a premium machine, and while you will pay a little bit more for it, the money is well spent. It is efficient in terms of ink usage, and the picture and print quality is remarkable. It has so many awesome features, there is nothing that it can't do. I have had no problems or glitches with it as it always works reliably and it gets heavy use.

I think this isthe best all in one printer I have had. It is easy to maintain, cartridges are reasonable to replace, and above all, I've not had any jams that I could not handle. I believe in the 2+ years I have had this particular model, I have only had 3 paper jams! That is unusually great for me!

Received this Printer as a gift.  It is a wonderful item.  Can do almost everything, plus you can join smart solutions and get news and weather right on your printer.  You can also find where you can buy cartridges for the printer in your area.  The best thing I like is the two sided printing for tax forms etc.  Recommend highly for anyone who needs a proffesional printer for home.

The photo colors produced are decent and the image are almost sharp. The printer is decent printing because the photos aren't clean, and they are dot patterns in light areas. The photos printed in Best mode are noticeably brighter and sharper than Normal mode prints but uses up a lot of ink. When I photocopy papers, the quality is decent. The colors usually shift toward yellow.  The shadows and highlights displays lack of detail, and it's noticeable with small type. I scan documents, they generally look good. And I when I utilize the automatic OCR conversion feature it opens in Microsoft Word and is very highly accurate and maintains the correct formatting. One thing I like about this printer in comparison to other printer is the Lexmark's warranty. The Platinum Pro905 comes with a five-year parts-and-labor warranty which is nice when most printer usually don't last very long. This service is available from morning through evening six days a week. Again nice to have when printers can frequency break down. This printer has lots of cool features such as the ultra-inexpensive monochrome text printing, fast performance, crystal clear LCD, none complicated setup, and a long warranty.

I'm an Avid HP printers buyer because i thought that they were considered the best.  After yet ANOTHER printer died after a few years of use, I decided that I had enough with HP and decided to buy Lexmark and hoped for the best.  Wow! I should have done this years ago! T he printing is far superior to the all in one HP I had been using (much crisper, doesn't smudge) and there is simply no comparison with the cost of the toner! I do a considerable amount of scanning to PDF and find this works quite well, and I've had no issues printing W-2's, checks or any other specialty printing (as a matter of fact, this was the first year all 600 W-2's printed without one single issue like 10 sheets sticking together!). It has a few little quirks that you need to adjust to, but overall I'm kicking myself that I didn't try something other than HP years ago.  Don't let the cost fool you, this one is SO worth the cost it's not even funny.

i have bought the lexmark platinum pro905-multifunction inkjet printer and i must say that i definitly love it.haha i have bought a few others and none of them compare to this one.i have seen other reviews say this is a wonderful and amazing printer but i had to see for my self and i purchased the lexmarl platinum inkjet printer and i must say that i love it!!!!it has very great performance and it has easy set up and extremly easy to use i dont really like installing printers because of so much instructions and hard to install but this one is nothing like that!!i have bought printers online but then i had to buy the ink online also and it sucks because you can  only buy it online then you have to pay for shipping then you have to wait a long time for them to deliver it and omg i am so impatient but with this printer i can pretty much go to any store and buy the ink there it saves a lot of time and money.

I love this printer I have had for about 2 years now. The cartridges are very inexpensive next to the other printers cartridges, also it doesn't waste ink cartridges , i have used the same cartridges for around 3 months with a lot of use. I love how it is multi use printer, I love the fax feature, and the scanner. It was also wifi which I needed because I use laptops in my home . **Thing things I didn't like about this printer: **When your printer runs out of a color ink it wont print until you replace not even in black in white, also it is very heavy also , the support team wasnt very helpful at all when I called and the ink wasn't availible in my local best buy so have to order it. The colors come out very clear and sharp when i print out photos , the printing is very quick, the set up is fairly easy. And the price is ok for the quality I bought mine for 165. All in All I would recommend the Lexmark to any of my friends
