I spent a lot of time reviewing brands of furnaces and got estimates from several companies. I was looking for a quiet running high effiecency product that would be reliable.for at least 10 years. I have experienced very high heat bills even though there has been extra insulation blown into the walls and atic and all the exterior doorshave been replaced with insulated steel ones and all the windows have been replaced with double pane low -e units. The Lennox brand seemed to meet my requirements better than the other brands. I like the fact it has a variable speed blower motor and a two stage burner.The Hepa filters in the air fitration system and the fresh air exchage system have really helped with the control of my allergies and asthma.This is the second Lennox brand furnace I have had installed in my present home. The first one was installed in 1989 and needed very little service. The current furnace was installed one year ago.
