I have had this Lasko 5130 ceramic heater for years and it has not failed me yet. Very cost effective and provides good heat.  I have since bought other Lasko products - one of which "clogs" easier and have to vacuum out so it won't overheat.  Lasko does have a link on their website (unlike DeLonghi) where you can check a unit you are having trouble with and check for a recall.  They are quick to mail fedex lable and/or box and label.  A good company which seems to stand behind their product.

I purchased this LASKO heater to use in the bathroom.  The first time I used it, when I got out of the shower it was blowing cold air.  After this happened a few times I called the Service Center and was told that it was manufactured to do this.  It therefore isn't any good for what I needed.
