My office at work is the only room in the office space that does not have air conditioning. There are also no windows to open, so it becomes really hot in the summer months. I have about 3 different fans in my office, and the Lasko Platinum Desktop Wind Tower Fan is the perfect one for my desk. There are three different settings, so I typically keep it turned down low so it does not blow the papers off my desk. There is also the option of having the fan oscilate, which I always keep turned on so the entire room stays cooler. I like that there is a bottom and top part of this fan, so you can face one part to the left and one to the right. This basically ensures that you always have some type of breeze blowing on you while you sit at your desk. Since I make a lot of phone calls, I like that this fan is relatively quiet. I don't have to worry about turning it off when I make a phone call. Ease of Use This is very easy to use. You just press the button to turn it on, and click it a second and third time to get it turned to high.

I love the Lasko Platinum Desktop Wind Tower Fan. The size is great, it is very space efficient. It fits perfectly on a small desk, or a kitchen counter without using all the counter space. I really enjoy that it oscilliates on two levels, that way you always get a breeze from the fan, while it still covers a large enough area.

I really like this fan! I keep it in the kitchen in the corner--it forces air circulation in an otherswise "dead' spot. No airconditioning hits that corner in our kitchen, so this little fan does the work and it works well! We no longer have to sit in a stuffy area in the kitchen with this fan! I would highly recommend it to anyone needing cool air in a not so large area. Air Flow The airflow is really good--considering the size of the fan. We were pleasantly surprise at how much air it blows out Ease of Use Extremely easy! No rocket scientists needed for this one! Durability I have noticed that when it oscillates, its making this horrible noise like plastic rubbing on plastic. It started making the noise about a month after we had it. Its a loud noise, so I only use the oscillation if I am going to be working in the kitchen, walking around. Otherwise, I keep it stationary. It shouldnt sound like this at all. I am not sure if all of them do this or I just got "lucky". If I had my sales slip. I probably would have returned it for another of the same model, because I do like this particular model. Design I love the design. Its not big and bulky and doesnt blow you away. Its perfect for table top, cubicle or any smaller place such as that

This fan has pretty decent power for something this small, and the addition of the oscillation option with the ability to point in multiple directions really make it versatile and efficient in my little office space. It tends to operate poorly in bigger areas like the bedroom or living room unless you set yourself right in front of it, but that's not what it's intended for! This fan sits best on a desk or worktable while you're working.

This is a great sized personal desktop wind tower by Lasko. It is the perfect size, not too big and not too small, I would say it is about the height of a computer moniter. I like the very affordable price for such a cool, sleek, modern looking fan. It has a very interesting design. It is split in half so to speak and the top moves in different directions as well, so you get air direction in two different directions. You can basically set this up anywhere you have a flat surface, and then you are good to go. It keeps a wide area pretty cool, basically because it is a tower, instead of those round tiny air fans, this is long and has a lot of power to keep any area cool. I personally use it anywhere and everywhere, from my room, I set it on my night stand, to my living room, by the tv set, to my desk.

I always thought Lasko only made heaters until I found this Lasko desktop wind tower. I purchased it to use at home in the summer evenings when my house gets a little stuffy. It's so cute and works well. There are a few wind speeds to choose from, and it's perfect for your desktop or you can even place it on large window sills. I also use it when I'm cooking in the kitchen or cleaning my garage. The design is nice and trendy and doesn't look so old-school like the other types of box fans and pedestal fans. This wind tower is lightweight so you can pretty much bring it with you anywhere. It helps you keep cool, so that you can save on electricity costs. The unit is very inexpensive, so you can't go wrong.

We have one of these in our office and it's a lifesaver. When you have six guys packed into one small young, it can get stuffy in a hurry. Plus, we keep the door shut most of the time, so it really can become unbearable. This little unit is strong enough to get the air circulating and make things more tolerable. I'd recommend that Lasko Platinum Desktop Wind Tower to anyone that wanted an easy-to-use unit that won't break the bank. It has good oscilation and can cover an area quite well. Also, while this isn't quite as important as the other things, I think it looks really nice. It has a sleek design and looks good in just about any room. I sit in-front of my computer for many hours per day as I do a lot of 3D animation and my ceiling fan isn't as powerful as I would like so I wanted something that wouldn't cost too much but that could do the job. I came across the Lasko Platinum Desktop Wind Tower through some reviews and after seeing the price I decided to order it. After plugging it in, I immediately felt a little bit cooler. The air hits me straight to my upper body which helps a lot during hot days. Overall, I would say im pretty satisfied. It does the job and a cheap price. It will make the summer bit more tolerable and hopefully I can get more work done. If you need a second fan, look no further. This one does the job at an affordable cost.

I really like using the Lasko Platinum Desktop WindTower fan.Its a great size for small spaces such as your desk or a table. its a perfect fit!For a small fan it puts out just the right amount of air to keep you nice and cool.It also has a nice carry handle on the back which is easy to use no matter what size your hand is.It has three diffrent speeds so its perfect for your cooling needs.It does come with a one year warranty but i have had mine for overtwo years now and it still works as well as the day my husband took it out of the box.I did buy mine at wal-mrt so its not very hard to find and it pretty well priced so it will not set you back to much money either.All in all Im very happy with the lasko desktop fan.

The Lasko Platinum Desktop Wind Tower is a great, affordable choice if seeking a desktop fan. I purchased the Lasko Wind Tower to replace my outdated and noisy fan and I was very satisfied with the product in terms of its vertical style and quality. My expectations were somewhat limited as I only really needed a desk fan that was minimal in design and noise that would effectively keep my laptop work area clean and cool. The Wind Tower's pros are that it takes up little space, is adjustable in size, has three speed settings and oscillates. The major con about this product is that along with the speed settings and oscillation, the Wind Tower tends to make a humming, grinding noise particularly when set on both the oscillate and low setting. To avoid the noise, I typically keep the fan on medium or high settings which solves the issue for me. All in all, a good, affordable choice.
