Works well
Works well, but is kinda loud on the highest setting. The base isn't very stable so if you bump it, it will probably fall.

This is overall a good quality fan. To me, I find this model superior to other types of fans for the following reasons: It is better than a box fan because the cool air can reach people, not the floor. Also, we all know how box fans can easily tip over and burn up. I also prefer this type of fan to the oscillating tower fans because I find them very difficult to clean as well as an inferior amount of air flow. This fan produces a lot of air flow even on the lowest setting. The height is adjustable, allowing for more options. The only reason I did not give it a 10 is because it takes up a lot of space. It is a bit bulky and sometimes I feel like it is in the way. Also, the lightweight design does make it easier to move from room to room. However, the downside to this is that if you bump into it it usually tips it. It regains its "balance" and does not actually tip over, but it will make you worry that it will. Easy to take apart and clean. Overall, worth the money.

it's a good fan in this price range and it has swing option too. Its height can be adjusted upto about 42" and it comes with three speeds option. It moves good amount of air and the best part is it is very light weight and very handy to deal with. The only problem I had with it was during the times when it was really humid both inside and outside and it could not do much about it.

Because we have ceiling fans in almost every room of our home, we don't feel the need for a portable fan. I purchased this one several years ago prior to our painting the interior of our home. I am so glad I did that. My husband utilized it every day when he was painting. The paint dried quicker and the odor from the paint wasn't as intense. I also used it when I was washing the inside of the windows this past summer. We have the type windows that fold inwards and they can be washed from the inside. The only down side to that is it is a terrible energy waster with the air conditioning flowing directly out the windows. My solution was to turn the a/c up and utilize this fan. It kept the air bearable so that I could wash the windows more effectively. The fan oscillates and has three different speeds. I appreciate the way this fan has performed for us and I feel that if it were to quite working, I would have no qualms regarding purchasing another just like it.

I got this fan a few years ago when my A/C went out. Honestly it does it exaclt ywhat its supposed to, cools/cirulates the air without making a horrid noise. Its not very noisy but it could stand to be quieter, I personally like the hum while I am sleeping. It saved me after a hurricane knocked the power out for a week. We had a generator and this lil fan kept me and my dogs from dying in the heat. I would recmoomned as long as you dont mind a slight hum.

In the summer, you sleep with the windows open as the nights are still in the 70's here in this southern state. There is no breeze, nothing to cool you off, and this goes on all summer. No relief from the heat even when September comes. The heat lingers on sometimes even in October. What is a girl to do? Well besides keeping the window open at night, ( well we can't keep the air conditioner on all day, as it is super expensive) we have small fan air conditioners to keep cool. But the small fans that we have, have no stands, they are like the desk fans, so we needed to upgrade. This is where the LAsko 2521 stand fan comes in. What a summer life saver. It keeps us cool in the hot nights, and it keeps us cool in the hot mornings as well. Easy to use.

I used to have a Lasko 2521 16" Pedestal Stand Fan a year ago and I absolutely loved it. I got good use of it for 4 years and it survived a few moves which I think made it ware down a bit. I personally like to sleep with a fan running at night due to the soothing sound that help's me fall asleep ( I know a little odd!) The fan was really light in weight and very easy to move and use. It had a few different speeds which is nice for people that want air coming out but not have the sound be loud. The price was great also and I would definately recommend it. I was quite sad that I couldn't replace it due to the stores not carrying it at the time mine broke down, since it was winter time. It was a great working fan that was very easy to assemble and take apart for when it needed to be cleaned well.

It's extremely expensive to cool my entire house using central air when it gets hot, so I had to buy about 5 of these Lasko pedestal fans to save on cooling costs. I leave one in the kitchen, one in each bedroom, and one in the living room. I only turn on my central air if the weather outside hits ninety degrees. Other than that, I use these fans to cool all of my rooms. They work very well if you open your windows at night when it's cool, and make sure to close your windows by morning time when it starts to heat up. Then turn on your fans to circulate the remaining cool air, and your house should be able to remain a very comfortable temperature as long as it isn't over 90 degrees outdoors. These fans oscillate and the thing I like most is that they are on a pedestal, so that it could cool the upper half of the rooms instead of using those box fans that only cool the bottom of the rooms.

This is a great small room fan, or to keep a smallish area cool. It is a requirement here in southern california, year round it is basically hot or warm, take today for example, it is scorching hot and it is not even the hottest it gets, that is around a few weeks later in the year. I have my Lasko stand up fan going right now, such a nice cool breeze, it is not abbrasive or wimpy, just the perfect strenght of cool air coming out to keep the area cool and breeze. This is very inexpensive room fan, and it is quiet, it has three speeds, which I really like cause sometimes you just need a light air, and in hotter days the full speed is totally necessary and it does the job of keeping you cool. i have two of these Lasko fans, one for the living room and one for my room.

Basically, this fan comes down to the type of consumer you are. Some people care most about the price. Others care more about the quality. A third group cares the most about the value they're getting. Whether you like this fan really depends in what group you feel you belong to. If you're in the price group (i.e. you care most about the price of the item), then this might be the fan for you. It's inexpensive, it is pretty powerful (produces relatively high wind velocity or whatever the actual term is for fans), it can oscillate to a pretty wide range. Thus, I'd recommend it for you if you're in this category. If you're in the group that looks for the best quality in their products, I'm not sure this is the fan for you. It is somewhat noisy, the screws come loose, and it is not exactly the prettiest looking fan. If you're in the value group, I do think you'll like this fan as you way the pros and cons plus the price, it's a decent value.
