While I love the lancome line in general, I find myself frequently dissappointed in their lipsticks. They have beautiful, natural looking colors, with just the right amount of moisture and shimmer. They have such little staying power though. They rub off easy and they don't last long. The light to medium shade colors end up making you look a little washed out. Adding a bit of lip pencil helps, but does not alleviate the problem. Also a problem that I have with Lancome lipsticks is that they are overly fragranced. A bit of fragrance is nice, but they taste and smell too perfumey in my opinion. Even the darker colors that I have had by Lancome aren't very vibrant and don't stain the lips enough to leave some color on after eating/drinking, etc. The lip glosses are great, so I don't understand why they still haven't updated their quality of lipsticks. Nonetheless, there is a wide variety of colors and they are generally natural and not overpowering. The price is high though, and not worth it to me if they aren't better in quality.
