I received this as a sample with a purchase from Lancome and used it for several weeks. I tend to sleep late so I have dark circles and small bags underneath. During the time that I used this eye cream, I did not see any visible improvement in the delicate skin underneath my eyes. The cream did help a bit when it came to eliminating puffiness after late nights, but the change wasn't significant enough to justify the purchase price. In terms of the product, the cream is slightly viscous which makes it easy to apply, but it doesn't absorb into the skin very easily and left a slightly greasy/tacky feeling behind, making it less than ideal for use under makeup. Also I think the product tended to block my pores since I got several obnoxious under-eye pimples during the period of use. Overall I think this product, like many other anti-aging serums that are promoted on the market, is being hyped up as a revolutionary new product when it's really just another bit of gunk in a small pot. At the end of the day, regular sleep, lots of water, and quitting smoking is the key to eternal youth.

I received Lancome Genifique Eye youth activating Eye Concentrate as a sample with a larger order. It was a small sample but actually lasted me a long time. You don't need a lot of the product to apply to the eye area. It is a nice, light, creamy texture that absorbs rapidly and does not leave the eye area looking or feeling greasy. I have oily skin and am always on the lookout to avoid those types of products. This did not clog my pores or irritate the sensitive eye area. It was very nice and I would like to use it again. I do not have a lot of wrinkles yet as I am in my early thirties, but I do like to use Lancome products to prevent and maintain my skin. I am a big fan of most of their products and will continue to use them. They are a little on the pricey side, but I have seen that they are good quality and last you a long time. Absorption Absorbs rapidly. Doesn't Clog Pores Did not clog my pores even though I have oily skin.

Lancome Genifique Eye Cream Youth Activating Eye Concentrate is more expensive than other premier brands, but since it lasts 3-4 months, it's worth it if you want the best for your skin. All you need is just a small dab of the cream to get results. You should hopefully see results within 2-3 weeks like I did. I recommend Lancome Genifique Eye Cream Youth Activating Eye Concentrate to all of you who love to invest in your skin.

I received a sample of this from sephora and fell in love with it. I didn't realize that an eye cream would be a neccesity, at my age, until I tried this!  I kind of wished the texture was was more rich, at first, but after using it a couple of times I grew to really like the serum-like quality.  Some eye creams go on rich but dry up quickly and even somehow accentuate the fine lines. This Lancome concentrate is just the opposite. It goes on velvet smooth and is super light-weight but retains the moisture for a long time. It also covers up the fine lines, creating a smooth surface.  It also lessens the bags under my eyes in the morning. I really enjoyed using it. My eyes looked brighter and more awake. ( I wake up at 7 am).  I love it.  My mom uses it too!  She uses this like a serum that she puts on first under her eyes, and then applies a richer eye cream on top after the first layer has dried.  Everyone should try this!  Its great.  I can't wait to get some more. Love it!  Give it a try it.

**Lancome ****sent me a sample of  ****Genifique to try with an order I placed.  I found nothing really special about this product.  I can only sumise that they  had hoped I would be intriqued enough to purchase a larger container of this product, but that was not the case. ** When I applied the **Lancome Genifique I admit I felt an immediate tightening type of feeling, but that feeling lingered and became ultimately uncomfortable so I had to wash the area.   I gave it a second shot  24 hours later, but again the tightness lingered and became uncomfortable.  Almost a numbing feeling.  Some people may find the product worth it, but for me it would be a terrible waste of money.  ** **Lancome Genifique does not have an overwhelming odor which is a definite plus.  Also the cream itself when first applied has a cool and pampering feeling.  I would use caution if you have allergies or sensitive skin.  Please be advised that a little of the cream goes along way.  I still have 1-2 applications in the .06 oz sample. **
