This is an excellent electric heater. It provides a lot of heat and really heats a room in a short ammount of time. The controls are simple to use. I was really surprised at how quickly this heater heats a room. I feel that it is completely safe as long as you follow the manufactures guidelines.

Works as expected, stays hot after auto shutoff. Performance I've never had a problem with this item. Wheels around great. Heats well. Ease of Use Great! Extremely easy to use. An idiot could use it. Durability Had it for several years and after wiping it down once a month, still looks like new. Dials never come off, numbers never wear off. Design Great design, slender, fits anywhere, easy to move around. Safety It never fell over, but it has as auto shutoff if it does, which I like.

My husband and I moved from sunny, warm Florida to Grand Rapids, MI a week after we were married.  Neither of us were prepared for the cold, LONG, and did I say COLD weather?  Our one heating unit in the house blew hot air in the *opposite* direction from our bedroom, and once cold weather hit we quickly realized we were going to need more heat!  We purchased this electric radiator for an affordable price (think college students' budget), and it has kept us warm through many winters in MI, WI, AL, FL and TN!  Now, going on almost 8 years and 3 kids later, it is still going strong.  We like to keep our house thermostat set at a cooler temp to save on the electric bill, but we also have a little one to keep warm at night.  This radiator has been perfect for that, whether it's just to have it on a very low setting to keep the chill out of the room, or to use both switches (600 & 900) and really get the room heated up.  The Lakewood electric radiator heats up quickly, doesn't make any 'clanging' noises like some of those in old buildings, and is also easy to move from room to room if necessary.  It's been a lifesaver for our family!
