My stomach is very sensitive to certain foods, particularly dairy products. The problem is, that I absolutely love cheese, milk, and pretty much every kind of dairy food out there. I mean, my idea of an ideal meal is made up of a bean and cheese burrito, and an extra cheesy enchilada. So, instead of giving those foods up, I take supplements to counter the effects. Lactaid Fast Act Lactase Enzyme Supplement effectively keeps me from having an upset stomach if I remember to take them when I first start eating. The main drawback to taking this instead of another more expensive supplement, is that it requires you to take one every time you eat something that might have a dairy product in it. In fact, there are times when I have to take more than one at a time, if I am going to eat a really cheesy food. This makes it a bit inconvenient, because you have to open the little packet right when you begin your meal. It's not a big deal, unless you are a bit forgetful. All in all, it does its job.

I have suffered with lactose intolerance for my whole life and have tried many different products to allow me to eat milk products. Lactaid is the only product that has ever worked for me and for that I am thankful. They are a great aid to anyone who suffers from an intolerance to milk products. They are easy to take, and dont have a horrible taste or after taste which is good. They outshine all store bought brands and while they are a little more expensive then the store bought brands, its totally worth it for a product that actually works. Unlike some other brands these also help if you have already eaten the offending food. So if you forget to take them before you eat the dairy product you can pop em in after you've started or even afterwards to help prevent the unpleasantness that comes along with eating dairy products when you are lactose intolerant.

I do not like the Lactaid Fast Act lactose intolerance therapy. I have been lactose intolerant for years. I have tried everything under the sun to help my digestive issues, nothing helps except the Digestive Advantage Lactose Intolerance therapy that I found. These Lactaid Fast Act Lactase Enzyme Supplement Caplets (60ct) do not help me whatsoever. I tried to use them in every way possible; before meals, after meals, during meals, beginning of the day, before bed. Nothing seemed to make these pills help me. I finally gave up with them. It is a big pain to have to take medicine each time you eat dairy, why not just have one medicine that helps your lactose intolerance issues with just one pill per day? Well, this product made me so angry that I actually was given initiative to find that medicine which works for me. So don't waste your time with Lactaid pills, they may have good lactose free milk but the medicine is not trust worthy.
