Blasts the bad off your feet

I had never tried a foot mask before this one and since I am absolutely in love with LUSH and love all of the products I have tried from them I thought I would give this one a try as well.  I am glad I did!  Not only does it deep clean and soothe your feet it also exfoliates and softens them.  My husband is in the Army and he wears boots all day everyday.  As you can imagine this does nothing good for his feet!  He loves this foot mask!  While he was deployed he constantly asked me send more because him and his soldiers would sit around masking their feet and relaxing at the end of their shifts!  I also enjoy this foot mask.  I have rough abused feet, I like to walk around barefoot, and this mask whips them into shape.  It cleans all the grime off and softens the rough skin on my heels.  It is always nice to put your feet up at the end of the day and enjoy the cool soothing feeling of the volcano foot mask! The only down side is application.  If you prefer to use the footmask without the plastic bags as I do it can be a bit messy when you want to wash your hands and you can't walk so keep a foot  bath nearby for rinsing and it will be all good.  I say go out and try it you will enjoy it :)

Messy and difficult to apply but it leaves feet feeling cool and tingly.

The last time I used a foot mask, I had a difficult time applying it and wasn't convinced that it really did anything for my feet.  The sick obsession that I have with LUSH products struck again, though, and I ordered myself a 11.5 ounce pot of their foot mask, *Volcano*, last month.  I give myself a home pedicure at least once a week, so I figured that this would be a nice addition to my regular regimen. LUSH describes *Volcano *as a "spicy and stimulating mask to bring abused feet back to life."  The label on the jar states that it contains tomatoes to deodorize, papaya enzymes (maybe to exfoliate?), and anti-microbial cinnamon leaf oil.  A closer look at the ingredients listing reveals that it consists mostly of kaolin clay and pumice. The directions state that you should completely cover clean, dry feet with this mask, wrap them in plastic bags, let the mask sit on skin for 10 minutes, and then scrub it off with warm water.  I usually just leave it on my feet (sans bags) until it is almost completely dry before rinsing it off.  This clay mask is very thick and sticks to hands, so I've learned to keep a wet washcloth nearby so I can wipe off my hands after application. After using this product, my feet feel cool, tingly, and refreshed.  I can't say for sure if the cinnamon leaf oil actually kills bacteria or fungus, nor can I determine what exactly the papaya enzyme is supposed to do.  The bottom line is that the cinnamon scent is very strong and will overpower any funky odors that may be lingering on feet. *LUSH Volcano Foot Mask* is not an absolute must-have product but it certainly is an interesting and different item that will spice up a boring pedicure routine.  I don't think that it is something that I will keep on hand at all times, but I definitely will buy it again for a change of pace.
