I have really sensitive skin, so I've always need to be careful about the products that I put on my face. My skin has always reacted to Lush products, because they're made from all natural ingredients, and the Mask of Magnaminty is definitely my favorite product from the company. Unlike other Lush facial masks, this product is more convenient to use, since it actually doesn't need to be refrigerated once opened and also has a relatively longer shelf life. It also smells amazing... super minty, and it feels good when applied to the skin, super invigorating and tingly. My skin is prone to breakouts, and I feel like it's rarely completely smooth or clear. Since using this product, I definitely believe that I've been seeing results. I haven't been breaking out as much, and even existing, stubborn pimples have start to fade and shrink in appearance. Overall, my skin in general feels healthier and smoother and looks refreshed clean. A great product to have in your arsenal!

I bought this product for extracting blackheads, and overall making my pores look so much this mask does great things to my skin. This product is amazing every time I use it I feel like I'm putting mint ice cream on my face it smells amazing. The mask is very soothing to me, and really calms down any painful zit I might have. After washing my face I apply a generous layer of this mask, and leave it on for at least 30 minutes it feels cool on my face, and tingling at the same time I can really feel it working. The mask is easy to spread since it has a creamy texture. The results looked great after I rinsed it off my face my skin was glowing, and fresh. I noticed it has helped with getting all of the congestion out of my pores, because my pores look a lot smaller now when I use this mask regularly at least once a week. This facial mask does have an expiration date of only a few months since it contains fresh ingredients. I recommend this to anyone with pore issues.

I bought this product because I heard it was great for extracting black heads, making pores smaller, and pulling out every ounce of dirt from the pores. This definitely wasn't the case. However, I'm not upset that I purchased this product. Although it doesn't do what it's supposed to, I find that LUSH's Mask of Magnaminty is the best product in the world for getting rid of zits. The second I feel a spot coming to the surface, I put a little bit of this mask on it. The next day, the zit is completely gone. If a zit does happen to peak through the surface, this product gets rid of the head within a few hours. Because this product is green, I find that it helps to get rid of redness, as well. So, when the zit is being treated, the pigment in the zit is too! This product has an amazing smell. Every time I use it, I feel like I'm putting chocolate chip mint ice cream on my face. It smells delicious!

I love all of Lush's products so I was excited to try a mask from their wide range of products. I decided to ultimately choose the "Mask of Magnanmity" because I have sensitive skin. The price is a little high when you compare it to other facial masks you can get somewhere else but I like knowing the one I am buying is relatively fresh and LUSH is known for its high quality products. It is very easy to apply the mask and is not messy at all! It was smooth and the texture was great. The mask hardens relatively quick too so you have to be careful not to leave it on for too long or your skin will be bright red when you take it off. After taking off the mask, my skin felt very smooth and I felt refresh. I like to keep mine in the refrigerator so the quality is fresh and since I live in sunny Florida, I like something cool on my skin at the end of the night due to the high temperature.

I've wanted to try Lush's Fresh Face Masks for a long time; unfortunately, I don't live near a Lush store, and because the masks are fresh and spoil easily, the company doesn't sell them via mail order. Lush does, however, offer a similar product called Mask of Magnaminty. This face mask gets plenty of praise and positive buzz among Lush fans, so I added a pot to one of my orders. I like face masks of all kinds and have used a variety, from inexpensive drugstore brands to all-natural concoctions made by indie skincare companies. Mask of Magnaminty falls somewhere in between -- it's definitely not cheap like drugstore brands, so I expected that using it would be a pretty nice experience. Unfortunately, after several applications, I remained disappointingly...eh...about it. The product is bright mint green and has a thick, grainy-creamy consistency. It smells strongly of mint-chocolate-chip ice cream. It is a clay-based mask that claims to cleanse and exfoliate, leaving the skin feeling fresh and clean. That fresh feeling is no exaggeration, thanks to the peppermint oil. I can see how this mask could be irritating for those with sensitive skin; while it's not out-and-out harsh, it's not particularly gentle either. While my skin wasn't irritated, I didn't see any benefit from the mask either. It didn't seem to pull impurities from my pores or even my skintone, and I can get better exfoliation from other products. Mask of Magnaminty is also kind of gloopy and messy. Bits of it chip off and get all over as it dries, and rinsing it off can definitely make a mess of your bathroom sink. For that kind of fuss, I expect more results than Mask of Magnaminty offered me.

My sister in law bought my this for Christmas, because I love the LUSH line of products since they are so organic! I love the fresh smelling scent of this mask, and the green color along with the exfoliating particles that help get rid of all the dry skin on your face. The packaging that it comes in is great, and keeps everything in the container and you are able to easily get it out of the container, unlike other brands where you have to squeeze so hard to get it out of the containers. This has left my face so soft and the smell made me feel so refreshed! The only cons that I am able to think of when it comes to mind of using the Lush Magnaminty mask is that yes it does get a little messy when you wash it off due to the exfoilating particles that tend to flake off everywhere, and I do mean everywhere! The other con would be the price, since it is from Lush you are paying for the organic and brand name of lush but if it is in your budget, I totally reccommend it!!!
