This is not LUSH's best soap. It has a peppermint smell and does have "zing" to it, but it is hard to work this into a lather yet it leaves my skin feeling on the dryer side. Also, there aren't any special "goodies" inside this soap which is one of the reasons I like the LUSH soaps (that they include "stuff" inside, whether it is bits of fruit, or dried flowers, etc). The scent is nice, and it does not linger whatsoever (which would be a big bonus for those people that are sensitive to smells or a big con for those who are very much into soaps that smell strongly). One good side of this is that you can ask a LUSH associate for any size soap that you want. They will cut it for you from the main round on the table and if you want they will cut your piece into smaller bits if you want to use them separately or split them between bathrooms. For the price this is not a bad soap, but there's nothing really "special" to it other than the peppermint smell.

Smelling like gramma's purse is not necessarily a bad thing though. It's a great unisex soap that is effective and refreshing.  Ice Blue is exactly the same color as Windex.  It's that same deep, pretty aqua color.  Ice Blue is fairly long lasting in the shower as well.  Some of LUSH's soaps seem to melt away more quickly than others even when every effort is made to store them far away from running water.  Fortunately Ice Blue is not one of them.  It also feels really nice on the skin due to the mint. Ice Blue is a good soap and since it is long lasting it's a fairly good value for LUSH which tends to be on the pricey side. Effectiveness It does not lather much but it cleanses my skin without sucking all of the moisture from it and it rinses away well. Scent It smells fresh and minty and ever so slightly herbal so it's good for men, women, and the whole family. Despite its name, Ice Blue is not shockingly minty.  Someone on the LUSH website reviewed the product stating that it smells "like the inside of an old lady's purse".  Oddly enough, I knew exactly what she means and totally agree.  It reminds me of when I was a kid and I'd go into my grandmother's purse for something and it smelled like minty gum.  Maybe that's partly why this soap is so comforting to use.
