Lush Surely Knows How To Make Me Wash

I use it as my main shampoo so no products nor before neither after. It does the job perfectly: it's hydrating and so original. As for the texture is great, and the smell stays longer than expected.

Not the Greatest Curly Hair Shampoo

I have tried this a few times at this point to make sure that I wasn't just having a bad day with it and I am still not a fan of this shampoo. This shampoo is intended for those of us with curly hair but you would be just as fine with a standard, no foaming shampoo. The main problem that I have with this is washing out the chunks of coconut that are included in the shampoo. Most of them do wash out in the shower but there are little bits here and there that get stuck in my curls and I have to pick them out by hand which leads to disturbing the curl pattern or just plain old missing them and having someone else find it later. I also find that it's a little difficult to work this throughout my hair. I have to really emulsify it in my hands before I apply it, and even then it doesn't spread very well. I feel I would go through a tub of this relatively quickly given how much product I would need in my hair. The smell is pretty good and it did not weigh my hair down so those are a few positives.

Mom, why won't this come out of my hair?

I love the Lush line of products, but had never tried the hair care products.  When I saw Curly Wurly I knew I had to buy it for my daughter no matter what the cost (and it cost plenty).  I had been using other products in her hair to keep it manageable, but it didn't lather so I sometimes wondered how clean it  was actually getting.  So I saw the Lush product, bought it, and used it as soon as we got home.  It looked strange, but it lathered nicely.  The smell was much less than pleasant than their other products, but I could live with that for clean conditioned hair.  Everything went well during the wash, but rinsing it out was nothing short of a nightmare!  Her hair clumped together into large dreadlock type knots.  This had NEVER happened with any other product, EVER.  In addition to the massive amounts of tangles, those stupid coconut flakes were nearly impossible to remove.   I had to condition her hair and literally comb and pick out the coconuts.  Needless to say it was a miserable night.  The next moring her hair was very clean and soft but it definitely was not worth all the extra work.  This product was definitely not for us.  I will be returning it as soon as I possible can.

Just great, one of the best I have tried, and believe me, I have tried them all. Some too greasy, some with no lather, but this shampoo is one of my new favorites. Lush curly wurly shampoo is recommended for both curly and wavy hair. The smell is great. Definitely makes taking a shower more enjoyable.
