I was skeptical about this product when I saw it on the shelf because most 2 in 1 shampoos do not work very well. Despite my reservations I decided to try it because it was on sale and I had 4 children with me for the summer that were constantly in the swimming pool. I am very glad I decided to try it. This shampoo takes that nasty chlorine smell out of the hair and leaves it soft and silky. I love the fact that this shampoo does not have a chemical smell to it but instead leaves a pleasant fragrance behind. I can now rest easy knowing that the children can swim and not have hair damaged due to the chlorine in my swimming pool. Effectiveness It works a lot better than I thought it would. It takes the chlorine smell out and also keeps the chlorine from stripping nutrients from the kids' hair. Other products left my kids hair feeling sticky after use this one just leaves the hair looking soft and silky. This product is now in stock in my house all summer long. Scent The scent is very pleasant.

Overall, this product is a great and cheap shampoo to buy! I would not recommend it to cure any type of damaged hair and I would be weary of colored hair because it's not a brand that would focus on treating that specific purpose. However, it works fine in helping to get rid of dandruff, and it works great with long hair! It is meant for kids and it does get rid of the smell of chlorine when needed- which is great for me! However, I wouldn't recommend it to people who have curly hair because I have wavy hair and I often got my hair in tangles when I used this product as a kid. For curly hair, I would for a separate conditioner with a separate shampoo because that works best in my opinion. However, for a simple kid's shampoo- the design is great and attractive to kids, and it makes the kid's hair smell great! It's effective for certain conditions but it's not for every hair style or every hair condition. It's very affordable as you can see, and you can find it just about everywhere. If you're looking to get rid of some smells after sports without denting your pocket, this is the shampoo for you!

This is a decent product. My daughter has never complained of the smell (which I also find to be pleasant), and it gets out swimming pool chlorine more effectively than her regular children's shampoo. It also leaves her hair in relatively good condition. My lukewarm review is primarily because if I only wash her hair once, I can usually still smell the chlorine in it. I've used some really good swimmer's shampoos on my own hair, but I don't believe there is a better formula out there for children than L'Oreal's. You'll need extra detangler after using this (you could blame the swimming or the shampoo), and a gel to keep your child's hair from being fly-away (L'Oreal makes a great kid's gel).

I loved L'Oreal Kids shampoo when I was younger, and finding this formula was perfect. Designed for kids (or anyone, really) who spend most of their time in the pool, it was ideal for a swimmer like myself. Chlorine can seriously damage hair, causing problems from breakage and split ends to severe discoloration. Until finding this product, I was dealing with a lot of chemical and swimming related hair issues. Thankfully, this kid-friendly and sweetly-scented shampoo and conditioner helps to repair damage. Within just a week or so of using it, this formula really got my hair back in shape. I noticed fewer split ends and breakage, and it was perfect for protecting my strands against the evils of chlorine. An added bonus is the smoothness it gives hair after washing. It did a great job removing any knots and giving my hair a nice sheen with each use. Because it's made for kids, the shampoo smells great and is made with gentle ingredients - meaning you'll enjoy the kid-friendly scent and a lack of burning, should it end up in your eyes.
