I have tried L'Oreal products in the past and have been impressed with the quality for the price. After seeing positive ads and reviews for L'Oreal Ideal Skin Genesis Daily Treatment Concentrated i decided to purchase it. The consistency of the product was sticky and runny. It took me about a minute to rub it into my skin and when it finally did absorb into my skin, my skin felt tight and sticky, not smooth. When i applied lotion and makeup over the serum it flaked off. After attempting to use the serum a couple more times i realized that you have to let the serum absorb in your skin for about 10 minutes before applying any face lotion or makeup. Some positives about the serum are that it had a neutral scent and it did not clog my pores or cause any breakouts... but it also did not do anything about my wrinkles or uneven skin tone. My skin looked the same after 4 weeks, not a single change. The packaging of the product is also terrible. It has a pump to dispense the serum but when you get to the bottom of the serum the nozzle does not reach the bottom of the bottle so there is a ton of serum left at the bottom that cannot be used. Waste of time and money. Would not reccommend this serum.

I saw no benefit with this product that I couldn't get with simple over-the-counter moisturizer that you can buy anywhere. Even generic brands gave me the same results. This works no better than Avon products, which also fall into the same price point. I've found that just applying organic coconut oil repeatedly gives equal or better results. Neither are lasting, either. Once you stop applying whatever product you're using, then the results quickly fade. Absorption It absorbed very well. Didn't leave too much of a residue. You could apply makeup on top of it after waiting just a little bit whereas other more expensive products make you wait a long time before their tackiness goes away. Doesn't Clog Pores While it seemed to clog my pores, almost all these skin treatment products seem to IF they're applied to my face where pores are visible. On other parts of my body there was no pore issues. Effectiveness Didn't work for me.

I've had this product for a few weeks. The first time I tried it, it burned.. I thought it was my face wash. So I changed my face wash and retried it... BURN! My face got a little red but it burned for a few hours!! Just tried it again with washing my face with didn't face wash and guess what!? Yep BURN! Sucks cause I wasted money on it. I'll probably contact them for refund or something.. I like all other products but this is the first one that has done this! My skin was flaky the next am too! I used it before bed (not under make up).

The L'oreal Skin Genesis Serum gave me no results after 4 weeks of faithful use (along with the L'oreal Wrinkle Decrease Filler). I used both L'Oreal products together and did not see any improvement in skin tone or texture, and it certainly did nothing for the fine lines and wrinkles around my eyes and mouth. It made my skin burn as well, causing me to look even more blotchy than I already am.Also I could not wear makeup over it, it was tacky and made the mineral makeup look like dry caked mud, enhancing my wrinkles. Another waste of money for me.

L'Oreal Skin Genesis Serum is a multilayer skin strengthening and meant to be used as first think after your daily cleanser lotion and before aplying your mosturizer if is morning or your anti wrinkle cream if is night. Is a soft non oily serum that provides totally protection and with regular use strengthen the layers of the skin making your skin look younger ,smother and even. As a little secret : keep a little of your serum in the refrigarator and aply it on your face after a long day of work or whenever your skin needs a pop up. Rutine: start your morning with your daily cleanser, aply a little amount of L'Oreal Sking Genesis Serum on the tip of your pointing finger and aply directly on your face with circle movements always following the natural shape of your face , start on the forehead with horizontal movements from iside to outside, in the chicks aply with ascendents movements beginning on the nose and ending by the beginning of your ears finally nose and neck, also with ascendent movements. After finishing your massage session follow your rutine with a mosturizer thats have spf protection or follow with your antiwrinkle right before go bed.

 L'Oreal Skin Genesis Serum.  L'Oreal skin genesis serum is not as good as the commercial claims.  I like the fact that the product is totally clear. It gave me the impression that it is pure and clean.  It turns out that it just feels like film covering my skin.  Do not feel like it moisture my skin much. My skin does not feel moist for long.   Do not even think about anti-aging since it cannot even moisture my skin.  The price is very very high.  By the way,  it is sold just about half price out side of the states under the name of L'Oreal Derma Genesis Serum,  I believe.  Since this Skin Genesis Serum does not work,  I have tried another product from L'Oreal; Advance Revitallift Anti-Wrinkle Moisturizer.    It is way better.  I do not know if it really helps on wrinkle, but I do know that it moisture my skin really well.  The down side is still the same with the skin genesis serum.  It is pricey.

I was using the birth control pill for a few years & had stopped before the summer, when I went out to tan at my family's home and found that pill issue happened to me - I had the brown spotting all over my cheeks, down to the sides of my chin from the pigmentation issue that can happen using the pill.  I looked at all of those age/sun spots creams but the most have built in sunscreen which always makes me break out or the odor of it makes my eyes burn, so I especially wouldnt want to use them at bedtime as well as day as is directed.  I found this out using an Aveeno one. Other face creams which said help to do all things in one or help regeneration and lightening etc just didnt too much for me as far as the sun spots issue. Then I happened on this serum as a sample that came along with the Skin Genisis ideal face cream and I am in love with this serum!  Within using the small little sample bottle, the spotting has lessened or in most places has already cleared up!!!! I have sensitive skin that will break out if you blow in my direction - lol- so I am also happy to say that this serum does not create any breakouts for me. It soaks in nicely and does well under my Curel sensitive frangrance free cream.  I will continue using this one for some time to come. Its just lightweight and wonderful. It does has a frangrance but fortunately usually my eyes cant take scents on my face at all, but this one diminishes as it soaks in, and doesnt cause my eyes to water , even when i put this serum on my under-eye area.& eyelid to help with darkness from being tired. Overall I would highly recommend this product! It helps alot in fading that uneven skin (I am very fair so if it works on me, it works!) and also leaves your face looking dewey and fleshy (meaning healthy). I am 42 if this helps those reading this to decide if may be right for them as well.

I so love this product and have been using it now for about 6 months and am going to continue using it, I have found a product that works it tightens the pores and firms the skin, you notice a difference as soon as you put it on, what a great product, it is well worth the price you pay for it, Thanks so very much L'Oreal for such a great product.

As 40 becomes closer and closer, way to close, i have been actively searching and searching, testing and testing to find the best product for my skin needs and so loreal skin genesis daily treatment serum has worked pretty good.  I didnt have issues like some people have with my skin burning or anything, so i dont know if it just effects certain skin types or something.  I can't really say that it will be my cure all in the end, but I will continue to use it for now until and if i find something that works better.  This also seems to absorb faster and better then some serums I have used.  I think that also helps it have immediate results because it really gets down in the skin and makes it look instantly better.  I apply this before I put on my makeup which helps with the dry skin lines I will sometimes get with liquid makeup.  It just makes my eyes look as if I had lots more sleep then I do.  i hope this will help others as much as it has helped me and my omg almost 40 year old skin.

This product and line is amazing. I use almost every product in the line in the morning as well as in the evening. It seems tedious cleansing, toning, applying serum, and then applying lotion - I never appreciated such a process until I woke up with gorgeous bright glowing skin. * People I have known for years have rarely seen me without make-up - now I can just play up my eyes and head out the door.* This is an amazing product and actually works! I'm so relieved that I picked up all of the items.
