Did not care for this product

I did not care for L'Oreal EverSleek Sulfate-Free Smoothing System Reparative Shampoo. I do not feel that it repaired my hair in any way. I have dry hair with a lot of split ends and felt L'Oreal EverSleek would be a big help to me. But it was not. Not only did it not smell good, it did not repair or make my hair feel nice. It was very tough to brush wet and felt very dry and stringy after it dried. I quit using it before the bottle was even gone. Effectiveness L'Oreal EverSleek Sulfate-Free Smoothing System Reparative Shampoo was not effective at all. I have dry and split hair that really needed restorative power and this was not the product to do it. I did not like the way it made my hair feel. It did not make my hair easy to brush after the shower nor it help with my split ends. Scent Not only did L'Oreal EverSleek Sulfate-Free Smoothing System Reparative Shampoo not work but the smell was not very appealing. It had a slight minty smell that was just not pleasant.

This product has an amazing scent with incredible potency that clings to your hair for a long time. I like that it is sulfate-free, which is supposed to be a lot better for your hair. I like the packaging it comes in, because it holds a lot more product than you would think. My only complaint about this product is the fact that I feel like I need to use A LOT of it to feel like I am distributing a sufficient amount throughout all of my hair. This is probably because sulfate-free shampoos do not foam up like normal ones do; however, I am currently using the EverCreme shampoo, and this product feels more rich and I do not find myself using much more than I would a normal shampoo. The EverPure shampoo really just does not produce many bubbles, so I feel like I need to get a lot of product to cover my whole head. Maybe it's because it is a clear, "dense" gel rather than a creamy, liquid-y shampoo? Effectiveness The shampoo helps tame my frizz pretty well. Something about it makes my hair just feel stronger. I want to say it makes my hair "more stiff", but that comes with certain negative connotations. My hair just feels more solid and even straight. Scent I LOVE the scent of this. It has a "salon" scent without smelling a lot like Pantene. I really love how the scent stays in my hair long after I washed it. I know a lot of people don't like that, but I enjoy getting random whiffs of my hair throughout the day! Side note: the conditioner does not leave the scent in your hair like this shampoo does, even though it smells equally amazing in the actual container.

I love this stuff! I am a big fan of L'Oreal's wide range of products. I have very long hair well down past my waist. Believe it or not, I highlight it myself! I know the highlighting causes chemical damage to my hair. I can feel it as I rinse and wash my hair especially the first time after I highlight it. It feels stripped. I've tried many different shampoos. I wanted one that left my hair feeling moisturized even when it was at it's worst, after I just did my highlights. When I tried L'Oreal's EverSleek Sulfate-Free Smoothing System Repairative Shampoo...my search was over! It's awesome! It really does feel like it's repairing my hair. I would recommend everyone to give it a try! Effectiveness It leaves my hair feeling silky smooth! It's wonderful for long hair making it easy to comb out, which can be very challenging. I often get compliments on my hair and a lot of people ask if it's a lot of work. Thanks to this shampoo, I can say no. Scent The fragrance is great! Leaving your hair smelling wonderful.

Very nice to use, actually works as stated on bottle. It leaves hair relatively straighter, smoother, and silkier than before. As stated, it repairs hair, and I visibly saw my hair shinier and less frayed at the ends after using it just twice. The fact that it says sulfate free and uses natural derivatives made from sunflowers gives you a secure feeling about what you are putting on your hair. Also smells nice, which is a plus. It is a very hard to describe scent, very unique but nevertheless leaves hair smelling very good. My only negative was that if used to often it can have an adverse effect and leaving hair frizzy and dried out. I would recommend alternating this shampoo with a natural clear one, and use maybe twice or three times a day. Effectiveness I thought it worked very well, and did everything the bottle said it would do, which was straighten your hair. Scent Smelled very good, hard to describe, a very unique scent.

L'Oreal EverSleek Sulfate-free Shampoo didn't perform well.

I received samples of the L'Oreal EverSleek Sulfate-free Shampoo, Conditioner, and also the Leave In Creme. Today I am reviewing the shampoo. I normally love L'Oreal products, and couldn't wait to try it. Upon opening the sachet I loved the feminine, floral smell. I wet my hair under the shower, and then squeezed out all the shampoo. I dotted it all over my head, and then rubbed it in. I was really disappointed that I didn't get a good lather. I thought that it might have been not enough shampoo in the sachet, but it was the normal size sample. I rinsed it off, and then applied a conditioner for color treated hair. Once dry, my hair was okay, but no better than any other shampoo. It is a shame because I liked that it is sulfate-free, silicone-free, and has natural oils and botanicals. I can't say that my hair was 'sleek' after using it. Effectiveness My hair was okay. Scent Loved the delicate floral fragrance.

I was given a sample of L'Oreals new EverSleek Sulfate-free Shampoo to try and I really liked the product. I mostly liked the idea that it doesn't contain any harsh chemicals that can potentially damage your hair after prolonged use. It also doesn't contain sulfates and silicones which can weigh down your hair and strip your hair of its natural healing process. The shampoo is also free of parabens and phtlates in its ingredients. I also like the fact that that L'Oreals EverSleek Sulfate-free Shampoo has a really thick consistency so that I need to use only a little amount of the shampoo. And it smells great - very refreshing but not heavy in perfumes. It contains sunflower oil and olive oil so it smoothes the hair naturally instead of chemically. My hair which is medium-long was soft and smooth after using this product. I would definitely recommend L'Oreals EverSleek Sulfate-free Shampoo in the Intense Smoothing formula. They also make one in Reparitive Smoothing formula but I haven't tried that one yet.

EverSleek helps smooth away frizzies w/out weighing down hair.

If you wear your hair straight but it tends to get a few frizzies throughout the day after you have styled it, I suggest that you give **L'Oreal EverSleek Sulfate-free Shampoo** a try. It cleans hair well and helps keep it straight, smooth, silky, shiny, and pretty, even on hot, humid, or 'bad hair' days. I have long, fine, chemically treated hair and use a blow dryer and flat iron to make it as straight as a board. Many shampoos tend to weigh down my hair when I straighten it, and make it look flat and also makes it look as if it has no volume, whatsoever. **L'Oreal EverSleek Sulfate-free Shampoo** does the opposite for me. It gives me the straight, smooth look I prefer and it also gives my very fine hair much needed volume. To be honest, I wasn't very impressed with this shampoo the first couple of times I used it, but I grew to like it very much when I used it several times in a row. It washed away all of the product build up in my hair and left it squeaky clean and it gave my hair fullness that it lacks because it's so fine. **L'Oreal EverSleek Sulfate-free Shampoo** works best with it's companion EverSleek Conditioner, in my opinion. My hair wasn't free of tangles after using the shampoo, but I have yet to find any shampoo that leaves my hair tangle free. I always have to use conditioner, and the same holds true for me when I use this shampoo. I really like the clean, fresh fragrance of this product, I like the way it lathers, and cleans my hair, and I like the way it adds volume instead of weighing down my hair. The more I use it, the more I like it. It seems to work better in controlling aggravating frizz and fly-away hair the more I use it. It's like this shampoo is training my hair to be straight without having to use my flat iron on it as much, and the volume it adds is very obvious and noticeable. If you buy this shampoo and it doesn't lather very well the first time or two, give it time to wash out the build up from other hair products, and you will find that it lathers very well and you will then know for sure that your hair is actually cleaner than it's probably been in quite some time. Expect to have to use a good conditioner, like L'Oreal EverSleek Conditioner, after using this shampoo, if you have long hair or hair that tangles easily, I think you will find that it is a terrific shampoo and that it cleans your hair extremely well while keeping the fly-aways under control and adding volume and shine that makes your hair look, and feel wonderful and sleek! I recommend **L'Oreal EverSleek Sulfate-free Shampoo** for those of you who wear your hair straight and want to keep it straight and smooth without having to worry about humidity or rain making it kinky or frizzy. Just keep in mind that hair that tangles easily will need a good smoothing conditioner after shampooing with this product, and I think you will be more than satisfied with the results this product gives your hair.
