Great Phone!! New fave and Pre-paid too!

I love this phone, it has a lot of things my old phone didn't have. This is my very first touch phone and at first I thought it was going to be really sensative but it really isn't that sensative. I don't have internet because I read that it wasn't good for that and I don't want to pay for it anyway. I love that this phone has an FM Radio, it's awesome and volume is great. Signal is awesome as ever!! Love it! :) Texting works well except for those long conversations the recipient would sometimes get blank texts. It's good if you don't text as much like I do lol. I think I will have this phone for a long time, it's like my MP3 only with calling and texting abilities which is pretty cool. I can't leave home without it. I also use it as an alarm for early mornings when I have work. I recommend this phone for anyone who wants to have a good, cheap phone. You won't be disappointed!

The LG Prime Can Be Tricky, But Good Value

4

The LG Prime is a sleek, stylish phone with a lot of great features, including a music player and radio, a 2MP camera with video capability, and the ability to set multiple alarms. While it is a fun phone to use, it's touch screen functionality can be a bit of a pain. To start with the negatives, the touch screen is not exactly user friendly to those new to touch screen capability. If you've ever used an iPhone or iPod Touch touch screen, expect a smaller display, which means less room to navigate your fingers. The small screen also makes it easy to drop your phone while texting, especially if you're texting on the go. However, once you adapt to the phone a bit (it took me about a week and a half), it becomes a lot easier to use. The phone has a memory card slot allowing you to store music, pictures, and more to your heart's content. The included radio is a great function, especially if you're out and about with little to do and haven't stored your own tunes on the phone. The phone also features full-audio ringtones (compared to polyphonic ringtones on other pay-as-you-go phones), making it fun to personalize; you can set groups for your contacts, group ringtones, and individual tones for all your friends if you wish. Call quality on the phone is great. It has good audio for such a small phone. I'd definitely recommend investing in a screen protector since you'll be using it for everything from placing calls to playing games. Also make sure you take your time when calibrating the touch screen when you first activate your phone; otherwise, again, using the touch screen will be a little tricky when you first start with it.

This LG Prime Cell Phone is Great!

5

First off, Let me say I bought this phone in order to replace my LG Neon because it was getting old and because I had a great experience with it I decided to look for another LG.To Sum up, I love this phone. The prime is everything I was looking for in a phone and an electronic gadget. It replaces my mp3 player and functions as a phone too so it has become my new best friend. The touch screen took me awhile to adjust too since all my other phones had slide out keyboards but I quickly adjusted and I feel in love with the phone. The Mp3 player is w2onderful because I can load up a memory card full of my favorite mp3s and play them all while on the go.Plus it has a jack for standard ear phones so I can use it without disturbing others.Another handy feature I love is the mobile email so I can access my gmail account from whereever I am and I can even reply to email or compose and send new ones.I have owned this phone for over 3 months and I have yet to find a flaw with it.I would recommend this phone to anyone. This phone is awesome.Do yourself a favor and get it, you won't regret it.

LG prime not ready for prime time

I thought it would be cool to have a touch screen cell phone and decided to give the LG prime a shot. Since I own an iPod Touch, I thought it would perform rather close to the touch screen on that and boy was I wrong. the touch screen is not responsive at times and too responsive at other times.Adding contacts and editing things are cumbersome. The screen "locks" after about 5 seconds of use and you have to press the screen to 'unlock" it...very annoying. It is pretty much impossible to do anything other than answer and hang up without jumping through hoops. there is an included camera which is nice and also an fm radio. the radio only pulls in the real close strong stations so if you live in the boonies won't have much need for. the camera takes decent pictures if thats what you want your phone to do. I am disappointed with this phone overall and regret getting it. It does look cool and if thats what you want it for then go ahead and get it. call quality is good though and that is what I really need out of this.

the lg prime is a true buyer beware !

this was one of the presents my daughter got for her 16th birthday which was in october. the first couple of weeks the phone didnt show any problems.around thanksgiving it suddenly locked up,i mean locked !! we had no choice but to take it to att and they graciously replaced the sims card, seems that is what it takes when it locks.its a anti thieft devise that can be triggered easily if you are unaware ! the phone does provide alot of storage space and great features.its photo abilities are lovely, clear and sharp, some of the best ive ever seen.i would recommend that you  purchase the oppitional insurance. we didnt get it and now i wish i did. the phone sometimes locks if you brush the screen. it also freezes without any warning while you are texting, which is a terrible thing if your 16 !! anyone interested in purchasing this phone i would highly recommend that you research all the reviews you can locate ! BUYER BEWARE !

I have only had the lg prime for about a month now, and it's through at&t go phone, and so far it's pretty awesome. The best phone i have had frome at&t so far. It has plenty of storage, unlike the rest of the go phones. Also, it's a pretty durable phone. Wow, and don't let me get started on the features am / fm radio, mp3 player, 2.0 mega pixel camera, voice recorder, voice command, notepad, world clock, stopwatch, tip calculator, unit converter,IM, mobile e-mail, games,ect... It comes with this bowling game on it, I know most touch screen phones have it but i didn't expect this one to have it. This touch screen phone was very simple to figure out I didn't even have to read th manual, it was just that easy. As far As i'm concerend this phone is so great. If they would have came up with this a long time ago I would have jumped on it then. I did reshearch on the phone online and then after that i went and bought the phone the next day, have been happy ever since.

AT&T's LG Prime GoPhone

I just got this phone today. I must say I'm very impressed. It's a great phone and it's very afforable. I should say this is the first touch phone I've ever had and it didn't take as long for me to get use to as I thought it would. It's a phone to sit and mess with for a while to find out all it has to offer, and I'm finding it has all sorts of cool things on it. Another thing about this phone is it has great signal. I had another phone from another company and I couldn't even make calls and I was lucky to even be able to send a text. Yes, this is a phone I would recommend to a friend.
