I purchased this phone about a year ago after giving my old phone to my young son. It is a very durable phone (I have dropped it a few times and the battery/back never pops off like my old Razor phone seemed to always do). It has a big keypad, too, which is nice for texting. The picture quality when using the camera function of the phone is okay - nothing extraordinary, though. If you are looking for a basic phone to tak, text, and take pictures with then this is a good durable option. I'm planning to upgrade to a touch-screen so it looks like my son will soon be inheriting this phone from me. It should be just fine for his basic phone needs.

I don't know all the technical aspects of this phone, such as pixels, etc.  I just know that I love my LG.  I had a mechanical problem with one and was given a Motorola Razor as a replacement.  HATED IT!  The battery was constantly running out and the applications were hard to figure out.  Not to mention that the LG has more and better apps.  The Razor did have a place to keep notes, but it wan't as good or easy to use as my LG.   I also dropped my new one and it got wet a few months ago.  I (mistakenly) tried to dry it out by putting it near the heater and almost melted it!  Consequently, I lost all the pictures on the front and back.  I've since learned to put it in a sealed bag of rice overnight (or for about 12 hours if it gets wet. Everything came back!  I haven't had a problem with it since. All-inall, a great little phone!
