LFD25860 French Door The refrigerator is 4 years old and the display went blank. It has a broken wire in the door. The LG parts department says the door has to be replaced as there is no way to run or splice the wire. The service department won't warrant the door. They say I must pay for replacing the door. I ran a temporary wire from the display panel to the top hinge to bypass the broken wire. It works fine but who wants a visable wire on the outside of their fridge? BTW, the supervisor said my repair is not authorized. There's also a broken roller on one of the veg drawers. I'm a single 65 year old man who is very easy on my things. I'm not used to things breaking for no reason. This is my first and last LG product! After reading other reviews, I feel lucky my fridge works so well. I guess it's just a matter of time before it quits.
