We've had LG Electric Dryer DLE2301W / DLE2301R for less than a year. I have been using LG products all my life and I absolutely love my LG washer but was not very happy with the LG dryer. I recently had to request for the repair team to come out as the dryer was making an awful noise whenever operated. Also, I noticed some black streaks across some of my clothes. They replaced a large number of items in the dryer and it worked alright for a while; but I was facing the same problem after a couple of uses so I had to get a new one. The pros are that it has way more functions then one will ever use. Even with all the functions it is quite simple to use. The best thing about this machine was that it could dry an entire load of jeans in one third the time as my old dryer! I also found that it dried the clothes without shrinkage or serious wrinkling. But I realized that you have to set the control to very dry if you want the clothes to be dry. The normal setting is damp dry, especially on cotton knits, sheets and towels. If it didn't have those problems, I would have liked this product. May be I got a bad item!

This clothes dryer dries my clothes in a fraction of the time that my old dryer did. It also is a larger capacity so it doesn't take as long to dry larger loads of laundry. In turn that makes doing laundry take less time so I can do other things. It's a win, win with this dryer. I'm so happy with my decision to purchase this dryer. The LG brand is the best in laundry as far as I'm concerned. When I purchased this dryer and an LG washer I was a little concerned because I'd never purchased larger appliances from the LG brand before. My concern was for nothing because I believe that my LG washer and dryer out perform any of the other brands that I've purchased in the past. I plan to by more LG appliances in the future. Load Capacity This dryer allows me to dry larger loads of laundry. Performance Dries much faster than my old clothes dryer. Ease of Use Couldn't be easier to use. Durability This dryer seems to be very durable. Design Love the look and design of this dryer.

This dryer replaced my older machine when it finally bit the dust. I am thrilled every day at the huge capacity - I can fill my entire laundry basket and it fits in the washer for one load, and dries in the dryer in just one cycle. The lint filter is easy to clean after each load, making it more likely that I will clean it each time. I have it set to the "sensor dry" setting each time, but I'm not entirely certain that that particular feature really works. It always seems to take the same amount of time to dry the clothes. But they are dry when the happy little song plays at the end of the cycle. There are many, many different buttons on the machine, which may be a big deal for some people. I like to put the wet clothes in, push the button and walk away. I've never really experimented with all the extra settings and features. I have a husband and two boys, so we don't need our clothes permanent pressed on the special drying rack. We just need them clean and dry. This dryer does the trick. Load Capacity A very large load will fit into this machine, and it will be dry at the end of the cycle. Performance I have never had a performance issue with my dryer, and it is five years old. Emptying the lint filter after each load keeps it working properly. Ease of Use The dryer is very easy to understand - turn the dial, push go, and walk away. Durability This machine has moved with us from Florida to California and then to Texas. It is still drying my clothes as well as it did the day I brought it home. Design It is white and square. The door is a little futuristic with its curves, I guess.

This dryer, like the washer, is so simple. My boyfriend does not do his own laundry but as soon as I got this he actually enjoys helping me do laundry! We love the music it plays when the loads are ready, it actually makes things a lot easier because when I'm busy doing something in another room I can hear when the clothes are done, instead of guessing and checking on every 10 minutes. The front loaders work better for me with the way our laundry room is set up, and the stainless steel matches perfectly with our appliances! I have always enjoyed doing laundry, but now with the LG washer & dryer it's so much easier, and fun! I would recommend these to all of my friends and family for sure!

LG DLE2301 is a Front Load Extra Large Electric Dryer .I have been using it for one year now. It  so good. It has a durable NeverRust Stainless Steel Drum and an anti-vibration motor that reduces noise throughout the spin cycle .No more complaints from neighbors(our old one was making some loud noise)Wrinkle Care system helps prevent wrinkles from setting into clothes during the drying cycle. So no more ironing.:-) If we put 2 loads of clothes it will come out perfectly dry. Large enough for king size comforters. We can adjust the temperature, .One of the most useful features of this dryer is that it can be set for sensor dry or manual dry. When a sensor dry setting is used, the dryer senses the moisture level of the clothes and shuts off at the appropriate level, depending on the setting of the Dryness Intensity Control. Overall  I am very satisfied with it's performance!! I highly recommend this model to anyone looking for a new dryer."

I purchase an LG Washer and Dryer in October 2008.  About a month ago the dryer just stopped working.  Since the one warranty is up I am out of luck.  I feel this is a lemon of a dryer not to last for this period of time since I used it for less than 2 years with only 3 lots every 2 weeks for one person.  I plan on writing a strong letter indicating my displeasure and will definitely tell my friends and family about LG product.  I have not repaired the dryer yet, but plan to purchase a new Kenmore dryer instead of repair since the repair cost is half the cost of a new dryer.  A very unhappy customer.

We had to replace our Maytag dryer about 6 months ago.  After a lot of research we decided to not purchase another Maytag, instead we started looking at LG dryers.  We found many reviews for all of the LG products and found that they all gave them five stars.  It was a relief to find a product which so many other people thought was a dependable brand.  Although they were much more expensive than some other brands we found a middle of the road LG.  It was in our price range.  We love our new dryer and have never looked back.  I would highly recommend this machine to anyone in need of a new dryer.  It has the cutest jingle instead of the annoying beep.  The machine also has many of the functions I was looking for in a new dryer.  Including wrinkle release and a moisture sensor.  The moisture sensor is a must!  It will stop drying once it can tell everything is dried.  No more time setting guessing!

With having several of these dryers in our residential building, I've noticed that they don't have much problems even after a year and a half unless there are problems with your building's ventilation. One thing I dislike about dryers just generally is that they waste a lot of electricity, but supposedly this dryer is supposed to easy on the electricity. So if a dryer is a must, and electricity bills are already hefty for you, this might be one of the dryers that you should consider. This dryer is a stackable unit, so you can put this on top of a washer or below a washer if you buy the stacking kit. This saves you so much space if you don't have much space for both a dryer/washer unit in your space. Like all kinds of equipment that uses computers to do things, it will run into those kind of problems but shouldn't cost too much for a technician to come by to fix it. It should come with a one year manufacturers warranty anyway though.

My wife's old washing machine broke a year ago and, even thought I could have fixed it, I decided it was probably a good idea to just buy a new matching front loading washer & dryer instead of trying to repair it. The main reason we bought all front loading machines was because of the space that we saved just by stacking on top of the other. After a awhile of researching the different dryers, we settled on buying this LG model mostly because it was just a bit less costly as other dryers that I've compared it to. The only thing that I wish was different on this dryer is the controls don't save the previous settings that you last used which only bother me because my wife uses the same settings mostly. In the end we are happy with the dryer and we recommend it if you're in need of a new dryer.

For years my family has had to do the laundry the old-fashioned way and I was stubborn when my son convinced me to get this new LG Electric Dryer, but when I finally gave in it only took one wash cycle to win me over! It saves us about an hour a week and if you add up all the wash cycles over the course of your ownership then it's certainly a justified purchase! It's quiet, so it never disturbs my pets much (a major problem I've had with my washing machines) and it's energy efficient too so you don't need to worry about being eco-friendly. It dries the laundry so quickly and efficiently, I can hardly believe I used to hang it all out on the clothesline outside. I love this machine and I'm sure you will too!
