If you are looking for a cell phone that is affordable and functional and does what you need done then look no further than the LG - C1500 cell phone. It has all the right functions, it is cheap and I just happened to buy the package with the free 300 minutes. It really is a wonderful phone. It is very easy to use. If you do not happen to know that much about technology, or even know how to operate a cell phone, this phone has got you covered. It is very easy to use. Not only is it easy to understand the instruction manual, but the phone itself from the time you turn it on, is self explanatory. All you have to do is follow the prompts. It is that simple. I have had phones that were difficult to program, and I am very computer literate. If it is hard for me, then the average consumer is going to have a problem. The screen is a descent size, so you are not squinting. The color is nice, easy to read. The service is awesome, it is easy to get ringtones and graphics, they are only a few clicks away.

So, when you are facing the pile of free phones infront of you at the cell phone store, I suggest you skip the LG 1500.  I now know why this pile of junk is free.  It started out so well, and had exactly what I needed, namely it was a flip phone and it had a silent ring (vibe).  That is all I really need and want in a cell phone.  It works well in my network and in my extended network, and it continues to work really well when it wants to.  About one year into my two year contract the LG 1500 decieded that charging was an optional thing.  I'd hook it up to the charger when the battery was drained, and grab it in the morning...it showed a full charge.  One 2 minute call later...dead phone.  Took it into the wireless company, who offered me a new battery for free (I did not pay the insurance for a free phone).  New battery worked two weeks, and it was dead as well.  The cell now charges when it feels like it and will show a full charge, when there is no charge in the battery.  Hooray that my contract is nearly up and a new cell phone selection will be made!  I will be looking at Nokia or Motrorola products, definately not LG!

I have had my LG-C1500 for about six months now and have got to say that it really performs under the rugged conditions I put it through. I am constantly on the go either at work or in my off time I do alot of mountain biking and hiking. I like to keep a phone with me for emergencies. But I don't want to pay alot for something that could easily get ruined by my active lifestyle.Since I have had this phone it has survived crashes on my mountain bike, Unexpected rain storms and the unforeseen helping on a demolition job to help out a friend. This phone has been soaking wet. Turned a shade of black from demolition dust that made it unrecognizable as far as its true color goes. Yet it has always dried up and cleaned up time after time. The numbers are easy to read without being too big. Plus it is easy to navigate through the different screens and menus. The earpiece gives me chrystal clear audio as well.

I HAVE HAD THIS PHONE AND I FOUND I HAD A LOT OF PROBLEMS WITH IT,FROM BATTERY NOT STAYING UP LONG,TO LOSING INFO I NEEDED I HAD PUT IN IT. THE SOUND WASN'T ALL THAT HOT EITHER. WOULD NOT SUGGEST FOR SOMEONE LOOKING FOR A GOOD CELL PHONE,SORRY.
