**This washer/dryer combo was the best thing to be invented for busy moms. I absolutly hate waiting for clothes to dry taking them out switching the wet clothes from the washer to the dryer and all over agian. With this there is no need for that. You put your clothes in and this machine washes them and dries them! its great! i dont have to worry about if i forgot to switch my laundry. NO MORE SOUR STINKY FORGOTTEN CLOTHES. and that really was the best feature of the washer/dryer combo. I am busy and if i have to leave my house i dont want to worry about my clothes souring in the machine. Its great for people on the go alot! and the best part is u dont loose any quality my clothes come out just as clean and just as dry as any other high end washer and dryer . i recomend it to everyone. and it saves space!**

We;ve had our LG washer/dryer for about 2 years now. I have read a lot of the reviews and there seems to be a lot of confusion.     I see a lot of unhappy people concerned with vibration. If you level the washer properly with the adjuster legs and you "**remove the shipping bolts**" this should not be an issue at all.    I see some people commenting on noise. The only real noise we noticed was from the discharge water hose. I cut this down **drastically** by taking a damp rag and stuffing it around the hose where it enters the drain pipe. The rag is dry now, but fits tightly and stops most of the noise. Yes the machine can automatically go to drying right after washing, you just have to **push the drying button** when you are selecting all the other options for the type of wash you are doing.    I see people **waiting for the cooldown** to end. It is **NOT** necessary to do that. That is a convenience to help avoid wrinkles if you are not available to take the clothes out right away. And "yes" it is supposed to go for hours and hours in case you need that much time. When the machine beeps that it is done, just hit the pause or stop/start button and wait 2 minutes for the door to release.    I have learned a little trick to help get the clothes even dryer. After a cycle ends, open the door, **take out a few items** and close the door.  Give the clothes a few shakes and they are bone dry. Repeat until all are dry.  If you take them all out at once, by the time you get to shaking out the bottom of the load, the heat is gone, the water won't evaporate quickly and the clothes will stay damp.   We noticed NO increase in our electric bill doing 2 to 3 loads a week. We do hang our clothes on a line about 4 or 5 months of the year though.  We love this machine and give it ***5 stars***, I posted it as 1 star just to **get your attention**.

I just got this washing machine after my old one broke several times within a year. My laundry load increased especially with having four children. My very first load in my Lg came out so clean I couldn't believe it. Stains I could never get out were gone. It saves me money on electricity as well as on laundry detergent. It is a heavy duty so my loads even decreased because I can fit more in one load. I would recommend this machine to anyone especially those with children who are active.

This washer/dryer combo is wonderful, It does not need to be vented, it also does not put off a lot of heat like a regular dryer would. I live in a trailer so its small compact size is great for my family. It also has a sanitising cycle,I have kids and a husband, so when this machine got out blood and grass stains, I was speecless. It also has a hand-wash cycle which I used for my favorite dress that is hand wash only. So much easier then hand washing, and I did not have to worry about ringing it out and dripping water all over the floor. All our clothes are cleaner then they have ever been, I also use less detergent and fabric softener. With this machine I can put a load of clothes in and go to bed they will be washed and dry or mostly dry when I get up, this is a plus for me, before I got this machine if I needed something clean for the next day and did not realize until late, I would have to stay up and wait for the washer to finish to put the clothes in the dryer. This machine is smaller then regular washers and dryers, It washes about half the amount of a regular machine. It also takes around 3 to 4 hrs to wash and dry. To some this may be a down side however the pros out way the cons

I would never recommend this product.  We thought we were getting a great deal and it ended up a nightmare.  The LG WM3431 Front Load washer was working for about a year and then it kept tilting and knocking all around and would shut itself off and buzz and we could not get it to click back on.  My husband had to take it all apart and figure out what was going on.  The button in the door kept getting stuck.  Then after we finally figured that out a whole appeared in the inside lining and would leak during big loads, so we stopped doing big loads and could only do smaller loads.  We would always have to put towels on the floor just in case it would start leaking again.  Then it started getting stuck on the final spin cycle and would just start clicking and making noises, so you'd have to go in there to click it off and start a new load.  It was horrible and a total waste of time and money.  I do not recommend this product at all.  Get something else.

The house I bought was built before washer/dryers were common, so there was no washer vent and I didn't want to punch one through the wall. This LG costs less than a comparable washer & dryer and takes up less than half the space. The direct drive motor is very efficient, drawing minimal current which translates into energy savings. Using a variable speed DC motor directly driving the drum means there are no belts, gears, or clutches to wear out. It's 115 volt, so it can be plugged into any household outlet. This is very important for apartment or condo dwellers. It has a small capacity, so don't expect to wash your entire load of laundry at one time. It's not industrial sized. I generally throw in about 5 pairs of pants (thats all of them), or about as much clothes as would fit in a large grocery bag. I usually run it 3-4 times a week instead of doing one giant garbage bag sized load every 2 weeks. I find that it is getting my stuff really clean and does a good job drying even on the lower settings. The controls are perfect. They are very intuative and allow adjustment of every possible setting. My clothes get covered with rust, mud, ash, blood, guts, dirt, you name it. I can set the soil level to 5 (highest) for stuff I've been wearing in the shop, or 1 towels etc. This is a good feature. I throw stuff in in the morning before work and its completely finished when I get home. The first day I got the thing I tried to wash a pile of clothes. Not happening. It takes a few hours to get through the drying/cool down cycle. When it is cooling down the door is locked, so you just have to wait. But this is not the way to use this machine. Load it once in the morning and let it do its stuff.

The combo washer and dryer is great if you need to save space! The washer is great however when it is done washing it does not have a option to continue to drying. When your ready to dry it takes almost 4 hours!!! It does not operate like a typical dryer - it has no air vent so after the clothes are dry they must cool down and that takes another half an hour! If you need to dry something quickly to get wrinkles out this will not work - if you are in a hurry and need to grab something out of the dryer and run out the door this will not work because of the cool down process - the door is locked until finished. Your clothes cannot be worn without ironing them after washing. Overall I would not recommend this product - it is very very small and takes twice the time of  a normal washer / dryer. I would also be concered about the power bill if it takes over 5 hours to finish one load of laundry!!

This washer-dryer combo is very efficient and runs quietly.  The drying takes a little while longer than in a traditional dryer, because it sucks out the moisture.  However, there is little need for ironing afterwards.  This model is very good for small spaces.

But, it is so easy, so convenient! No more funky odors because I forgot to move the laundry to the dryer. It works absolute magic...the clothes come out clean and wonderful!
