This TV has an amazing picture from every source that I have hooked up to it (Comcast HD, XBox 360, PS3 & Blu Ray). That's the end of the good news. The customer service folks from LG are not all that helpful and you'll get transfered a few times before getting to the TV Warrany people. I spent 55 minutes on the phone during my last experience, the majority of that time was spent listening to elevator music, waiting to get an appointment with one of their authorized repair goons. My Amazing picture has been amazingly broken for 37 days now ... they've made two attempts to fix it and both failed (well, actually, one succeeded for about 4 hours), the remainder of that 37 days has been spent waiting on backorder parts and rescheduling appointments. Hopefully yours will not break down because LG, although they claim to be the greatest company since sliced peanut butter, do not blink at allowing a customer to sit with a broken product for over a month during the holidays. I purchased two LCD TV's for Christmas and you can bet your sweet rear that they do not have an "LG" label on them. Did I already mention that it looked great while it worked (almost a whole year).

I have had this tv for about 4 months now, and I still find things out about it that make me enjoy it more. I don't see why anyone would want anything less than a tv like this. You have a choice to mount it up to the wall or have it on a stand. I personally like the stand, it allows for the next feature. With the stand installed you can swivel the tv around and put it at an angel good for the viewers. We just recently used this feature more than usual when we got a new couch. I also love how there are no buttons visable to the naked eye, but they are instead touch screen buttons. There are also numerous usb ports which helps for all the extra technology available now. We ourselves use the HDMI cable for our DVD player. Other things that I love about the tv is the set up that is on the main menu, you have a lot of options when it comes to the size and quallity of you picture. There are always cons to something so great though. I have since learned that this tv is not meant for video game use, and also anything that will sit on the screen. Since it is plasma, any image on the screen to long gets "burned" in and shows or a long period of time. It can be a scary thing to have your tv show one picture all the time. You can of course get an LCD screen and this problem will never occur. I didn't think of that at the time of my purchase. I think anyone would enjoy this tv, it makes you feel like your at the movie theatre.

this tv has alot of great features, it can be used as a computer moniter, it has a sleep timer on it. It also has a timer on it to shut it off at a certain time so it's not on constantly.it has parental controls. it has a great picture to it, you can change the picture and sounds to the show your watching or set it to automatic which does it for you.it makes any game system look good. I really love this tv it can make any living room look good. It also makes a very good night light as well it pretty much lights the whole  room.
