I Love my LG 47" HD TV! It just has one minor flaw. It has a beautiful picture. Its bight and the blacks look black. I got a great price on it at Best Buy. For the price it is a great TV! We love watching football on it in HD and you can see all the blades of grass and wrinkles on the faces. Bluray looks amazingly clear and crisp! Set up couldn't have been easier just attach the base and set it up on a stand. It swivels as well but feel study and not likely to tip over. We put it on our old coffee table to keep the kids away from the screen. It is so much lighter than our old 36" tube TV! My only complaint is the sound. I was really disappointed in the sound when we first got it. We went from a Sony TV with a good sound to this Lg which sounded a little tinny. I researched online and found how to adjust the settings and it sounds much better. It fine for watching the news and kid shows. But when you want to watch a movie we turn on our Sony sound bar for that deep sound. With the sound bar on its the perfect TV for us. Overall its a great TV and has lasted with lots of use! I would definitely buy one again! Picture Quality looks sharp Sound Quality can be a little tinny Design looks good!

Overall, I like this TV. The picture is crisp and it looks nice from an aesthetic sense. Also, for its size, it is lightweight. After a previous Vizio TV stopped working after 2 years, this one is still going strong. I am satisfied with this set and would recommend to others.

I have owned this tv for almost 2 years now. I love the picture and sound quality. The picture of the LCD is very crisp and clear. The sound is loud and does not require any extra speaker or surround sound. 47 inch tv is a large size for a reasonable price. I recommend this tv to anyone.

Had to upgrade at Christmas since our huge box TV went on the fritz! Have loved every minute of it! Wasn't sure at first about the LG brand but reviewed all TV's before buying! We couldn't have made a better choice. Graphics are great, son plays XBox on this and loves it! Easy to set up, put it on a TV stand we were afraid of it being knocked off.

I got this TV for FREE from a wonderful program called Swagbucks! It took me a few months, but I worked really hard to get enough points to get this TV. I went from a console TV that was as heavy as I am, to this lightweight amazing television. It was very easy to assemble with just a phillips head screwdriver. There are several input options and ports on the side as well as the back. You can even hook this up to a computer. The sound is great and the picture quality is outstanding! Mine is only a 720p. I know most people will go for the 1080p because it's supposed to be a better picture. I really don't see a huge difference between the 720 and 1080p in the picture quality. I like the option that you can either connect the stand, or wall mount it. This is one of the cheapest televisions I have found for the options it comes with. It is also Energy Star compliant, which is a great money saving option!

I bought this TV 2 years ago and it has yet to dissappoint me.  I have yet to have a single problem with it.  No stuck pixels, no screen burn.  Everything is working as it is supposed to.  I find the range of contrast and brightness sufficient to adjust to most any location.  There are only 2 HDMI inputs so this TV is not ideal if you are going to have a lot of HD digital devices hooked up.  The viewing angle on the screen is rather good.  Even sitting an an extreme angle you still get a great view of the screen.  Although the screen does seem to heat up slightly after some use it runs a lot cooler than other LCD TVs I have seen.  The sound quality out of the speaker is better than expected.  It provides a decent amount of base and a suprising amount of directionality.  This TV also makes an outstanding HD monitor.  Streaming movies in HD is easy.  I have it hooked up to my PC via and HDMI cable and have yet to have a problem with it.

Let me just say, the LG - 47LH90 47 in. HDTV LCD TV is an awesome tv.  It's HD, so to fully enjoy it, you got to be able to get HD channels through your cable, or box.  When you watch a football game on this guy, you really feel like you're there!  It's just that awesome! The picture is so clear, you can see all the details on the coaches face when his team misses the field goal.  You can see the grass, man, the grass on the field.  It's crystal clear.  It's a 47 in screen, so you get a lot of tv, and the price is really good.  I compared this one with the Sony and other well known names, and really couldn't see a difference in the sets - other than the price tag.  The LG is really reasonable.  And, it's got a good remote.  Guys, you know what I'm talking about here.  A tv this awesome needs a powerful remote, not just some lame one like your old one.  You can program your other boxes with this remote as well.

I absolutely love my LG LED HGTV! The size of 47 inches is perfect for our condo living room. The picture is just excellent, with vibrant colors. The only time something doesn't look as clear or crisp is if it is a lower end television station or programming. All of our digital channels look awesome. We use a HDMI cable cord to connect the cable and the Xbox, and the picture quality is outstanding. But our dvd player is just hooked up through regular component cords and the quality of our movies are great too! I personally can't even tell the difference. I like how the tv has multiple hook ups in the back so we can have more than one HDMI cable hooked up at once, and we can hook up all of our electronics (dvd player, Xbox, Wii, vcr, cable box) all at the same time, not having to unplug one thing to do this and then plug in anthoer thing to do that. We have been very pleased with our tv and plan to purchase another LG HGTV in the near future.

I bought this tv as a bundle with a blu-ray player.  I didn't really research LCD tv's so I thought it was a good deal with the price point it was being sold as.  I'm not much of an expert of LCD tv's but it seems to me that this LG is an okay tv.  I thought that the LED helped with the picture but I didn't really notice a big difference.  It's decent at gaming.  There is no noticeable lag between the action on the TV and the game input so that is great.  Picture and movie play with the blu-ray movies are clear and crisp.  I did notice a little bit of a jitter on some of the movies.  The jitter does not deter it from showing picture quality scenes.  It is little "fat" on the design since 1" thickness LCD are becoming the norm.  I would have preferred less of a frame but 47" is big enough for most people to watch.  I didn't hang it so I can't tell you about any bad angles of view.  Overall, though, it's a decent LCD tv for an LG.

The LG 47LH90 47in. HDTV LCD TV is by far the best HDTV I've ever owned and will be a LG repeat customer.  When I first came into the market for a new HDTV I started out looking at the bigger names like Sony and Panasonic but after looking at all the different brands and the picture quality I decided to give the LG a shot.  I am really glad I didn't buy on name value alone and I have nothing but good things to say about the LG company and their TVs.   The picture is awesome and I haven't had one bit of trouble out of this TV.   The kids hook up their video game systems to this TV and with the HDTV you almost forget you are watching a video game.   The sound is great and it was very easy to set up and had it up and running in now time at all.   If I had to pick one thing to complain about it would have to be the remote isn't all that great.   The remote has a slide down plate to get to the PIP (picture in picture), freeze and custom video selection and after opening it up twice it will no longer stay shut.   This really hasn't been a problem as I have a better universal remote and I never use the remote that came with the TV.   Overall the TV is really worth buying.
