When my husband decided he wanted a soundbar for his flat screen television we bought an inexpensive Vizio. We got what we paid for - it was just okay. We moved it to another room and upgraded to a Sony, which provided excellent sound, but not ease of use. We then found the LG and it has been perfect for our needs! Sound Quality We're not audiophiles. To us the sound is excellent. We just want to hear nice tones that stay clear when the volume is turned up loud for a ball game. We want to hear our music clearly, whether the volume is turned up or turned down low. The LG delivers on all counts. Compatibility Here's where the LG shines. It has more features than a basic soundbar. The wireless subwoofer can be conveniently placed anywhere in the room. It has bluetooth capabilities. We love using Bluetooth connectivity! We pair it with our laptops,our tablets, and with the Ipod Touch. The screen allows you to clearly see the settings which makes for an easy connection with other bluetooth-ready electronic devices. Ease of Use The LG is by far the easiest to understand and use of the three soundbars we have purchased. The directions are clear and easy to understand. Durability I can't really comment on durability. It's sitting safely on a shelf so there have been no accidents. It has never faltered soundwise. Design The basic design of the unit is pretty standard. The extra features are what makes it outstanding.
