I cannot say enough about L.L. Bean dog beds! We purchased ours a few years ago for our two large dogs for "Christmas." More of a gift for us than the dogs. We wanted them to have a new "spot" instead of our couch! One of our dogs is older and has arthritis problems, this bed is great for her and makes getting up and down easier and more comfortable. Both dogs love these L.L. Bean beds so much that we had to order a second one because they would fight over the first. Not only are these beds wonderful for everyday use, they are also great for travel! They fit perfectly in the back of my SUV for long road trips, or just even a quick trip to town. Another great quality is the type of service that comes from L.L. Bean with their satisfaction guarantees and warranties. They offer replacement "stuffing" for the inside and covers for the outer covering. We also caught the bed during a free shipping promo! No complaints other than wishing it was a tad cheaper!

My pug loves her LL BEAN bed! She is getting older and needs a comfortable bed and this one fits her needs. This is a high quality bed that should last for many years. A little expensive but the quality is there so you don't mind paying a little more for something that will last for a long time. Comes in fleece or denim and I choose the fleece in a light beige color so the little shedder pug hairs won't be as noticable.

Everything the previous reviewers said is true but LL Bean can afford to do that because the products they sell are high quality.  The LL Bean dog bed doesn't disappoint.  I found that when I purchased the LL Bean dog bed I didn't have to bathe my dog quite as often if I threw the removable cover into the washing machine once a week.

How could you not buy an LL Bean dog bed.  We all know how pupy love to chew.  Well when they do you can get it replaced if it's an LL Bean bed.  Plus you can get a new cover if need be or they will just replace it for free.  Not matter what you purchase they will replace.  I got tired of buying a new back pack for my 2 kids so I decided to try out LL Beans.  Well my daughters new puppy chewed the straps and I took it to them and they ordered me a new one.

The LL Bean dog bed has lasted longer than any other dog bed I have ever purchased - and I've purchased dozens for my crew of 5 dogs, 3 cats, and various foster animals.  I have had the same bed and same cover for almost 10 years which is just unheard of with the number of feet that have trampled over it for that many years.  It is durable, comfortable, and a perennial favorite.

I had it for the nine years that my dog was alive.  I kept it in her crate and she loved it.  She often disappeared into her crate to snuggle in the bed.  Young or old, she was always comfy in her bed.  The cover lasted forever, I replaced the insert once in teh nine years I had it.  The dog would often complain because the cat would take over her crate so she could sleep on the bed!
