This coffee maker is an overall fantastic product. My wife and I bought it for our new apartment when we did away with our Nespresso. We decide that it was time for us to reduce our clutter in the kitchen by getting appliances that can do many things at once, which lead to getting this Krups two-in-one coffee maker. It definitely does the job that we wanted, which was reducing the clutter, but it also did much more than that. My wife and I have found it much more convenient since we have the ability to make both espresso and american coffee at the same time considering that we each have one or the other every morning. Plus, you are definitely getting quality for your money because it brews great coffee that does not ever come out with coffee grounds. Plus, the general size of the whole thing makes it both great at making just the right amount of coffee and makes it relatively easy to clean up when coffee grounds get stuck here and there.

Received this beauty of a two-in-one coffee & espresso making station as a Christmas Gift. I must say that after over one year it still functions today. I was stoked to own this brand name as I thoroughly trust the KRUPS company to deliver a high quality product. I was a little let down by the espresso side of the coffee maker, as it tends to spurt water & water vapor out the side of the frothing attachment while using the espresso side. I also encountered large amounts of steam coming out the side of the coffee filter door as the coffee percolates. I was losing 12+ ounces in water every time I brewed a pot of coffee & had to re-measure my grounds accordingly. I'm happy to state that after several vinegar-cleanings, it now works properly and in a third the time. Apparently hard water build up was the culprit. I am looking to upgrade to both a better espresso/cappuccino combination coffeemaker & a programmable option so that it will automatically come on when I'm in a hurry for work.

Easy to use, makes a great cup of coffee every time. I can't recommend this highly enough. Brew Performance Brews realy well, tastes great! Brews the perfect cup, steams very well too, Ease of Cleaning Really easy to clean. Nicely designed that way. Everything is real basic as far as cleaning goes, they really though of everything when designing it. Ease of Use Very easy to use. My teens were able to operate it easily when they were still home. Actually they were the ones who showed me how to operate it. I'm disabled and now an empty nester and it's easy for me to use on my own, That is saying alot as alot of products are hard for me to use with having bad RA and neuopathy in my limbs/hands. Design I like the design, it's compact enough and yet everything you need to make any drink is right there. Durability I've had mine quite a long time and it works like it's brand new. I love the durability of Krups. I've had other brands and won't have anything other than Krups after owning this one now since it was first released.

My husband and I got the Krups Coffee and Espresso Machine Maker for our wedding, and I love it. We couldn't afford a high end independent espresso machine, and because I only make specialty coffees occasionally, I didn't see the point of spending a fortune. This machine does everything I need, and it's easy to use. I make coffee regularly, and it's super simple. I make a pot at a time, and it only takes like three steps. It makes it quickly and quietly which I really like. It's really easy to clean. You do have to be careful with the pot, but that is true of any coffee pot. It seems a little delicate, but I hand wash it and it's fine. I have only used the espresso maker a couple of times, but so far, so good. It was simple and I was able to make great cafe lattes for a family event we had at our house. Everyone seemed really pleased with the lattes - they came out really well. I am curious about how it will do when I froth the milk more and hope it will impress me as much as the other components of this device. Brew Performance Quick, quiet and tasty! Ease of Cleaning Just need to be careful with the glass pot! Ease of Use Instructions are very clear Design Looks good and doesn't take up too much space considering the capabilities. Durability I worry a little about the pot, but otherwise, it seems good!

I received this coffee and espresso machine as a wedding present 4 years ago. We've made coffee nearly every day since then and never had any issues. It is very simple for guests to use, too, so it only has one switch! The espresso side works easily as well. However, I had to order a new cup for the espresso after about a year because it cracked when I was washing it. Also, the handle on the pod (that holds the espresso) also cracked due to the pressure that has to be applied to turn it and attach it to the machine. Still useable, just something to note. Overall, I'm still very satisfied with it and will continue to use it for as long as I can! It is also a quiet machine and has never leaked.

LOVE our combo coffee maker and espresso maker! Brew Performance I love the brew performance of this appliance. It has the ability to make 4-10 cups of coffee. It is great to use when it is just me or when I have a larger group over. Ease of Cleaning The coffee pot cleans easily. I will either rinse it out or run the coffee pot and espresso pot through the dishwasher from time to time. Also, occasionally I use vinegar to rinse out the pot. Ease of Use Super easy to use. The coffee pot is simple. It took me a few times to get the hang of the espresso part, but I am learning. Design Great design and color. It matches the other appliances in my kitchen well. The silver and black looks nice. Durability The coffee/espresso pot has been very durable. We received it as a wedding gift over seven years ago and it is still working great. We clean it out from time to time and use vinegar running through it to get a full clean every few months. I don't have any complaints.

My husband and I received this Krups Coffee and Espresso maker as a wedding present five years ago. It is still going strong after being used almost everyday for five years. It makes a great cup of coffee, is easy to clean, and it is great to be able to make espresso at home! The only word of caution is that I accidentally bumped the espresso carafe when cleaning it and it shattered into little pieces. It is very delicate! However, I was able to order a replacement with no problem through the Krups website. If you are looking for a great coffee machine with the added gift of being able to make espresso then I highly recommend this machine! Brew Performance Great cup of coffee! Ease of Cleaning Once a week I run white vinegar through the machine to clean and descale it, followed by a cycle of plain water. Ease of Use Very simple. Design Looks great on my kitchen counter! Durability Used almost every day for five years and still going strong!

My husband and I decided to buy an espresso and coffee machine, after realizing how easy and economical it is to make our lattes at home. This is a great machine for people who enjoy a good cup of coffee or latte, but don't want to spend a ton of money on a super high-end machine. It's a great "starter" machine. I had never made lattes at home before purchasing this machine, and it has been really easy to use! I don't use the milk frother too often, but the latte still comes out great. It is fairly quick, for both lattes and coffee. Cleaning isn't too difficult either. I think for the price of a dual coffee/espresso maker, this is a great option and Krups is a good brand. We use it nearly daily, for both coffee and espresso, and it has held up great!

When I recieved a Krups Coffee and Espresso Combination Machine for Christmas, I was ecstatic.  I felt completely and utterly spoiled.  I spent that holiday season trying to figure out how to make the best coffee and espresso.  The machine worked okay.  It was easy to figure out how to use the coffee maker and I was successful in making great coffee. The espresso side was a bit more complicated to figure out.  I still am not quite sure if I ever did it right.  I wanted to make a latte, and ended up packing and emptying the grounds twice to steam the milk and still have an espresso shot that wasn't completely weak.  Like I said, I wasn't really sure what I was doing, so there may have been a more efficient way to go about it, but I wasn't able to figure it out.  I ended up giving the machine away a few years ago, because my husband and I really wanted a coffee maker that had a timed start setting.  We now have a separate espresso maker and coffee maker, and I am much happier with the performance of each.
