I have had this espresso maker for several years and it has worked well the entire time.  I don't typically use it that often - it's mostly for the occasional special treat.  Once you get the hang of using it (how much espresso suits your taste, how much water is necessary for both brewing the espresso and steaming your milk), it's quite easy to use.  My biggest complaint is that it takes a really long time to steam milk.  I usually have about eight to ten ounces of milk for two drinks and it will take upwards of 8 minutes to steam that much milk.  It is almost a workout to hold a cup of milk under the steamer for that long!  I have learned to set my cup of milk up on something so I don't have to stand and hold it that long.  Overall, it's a good espresso maker for the occasional user.  If I were using it on a regular basis, I would get one that is more powerful and quicker, but it's sufficient for my needs at this time.
