My headphones constantly break so I figured I should buy a spare. This really isn't the best but if you're a music fanatic as I am, they will do for a little bit while you get a new nice pair. However, if you have a few more bucks to spend towards a nicer pair of headphones, definitely do so because the sound quality of Koss BUDZ Consumer Headphones is terrible, the design is poor and they hurt your ears. Sound Quality It's got the muffled bass, static sound as all cheap headphones have -- depending on what genre you listen to, it will sound like someone held up their cell phone to a radio. Whenever I have to use these, I listen to soft music or instrumentals and it isn't THAT bad. Comfort They hurt after a half hour or so (but it's semi-bearable), but it truly depends on what size your ears are. Mine are kind of small, so they were pressing rather hard against my ear. Durability They'll last you a few months if you're lucky.

This is a relatively cheap headphone. I bought this because I happened to break my old pair and did not have anymore spare headphones. The sound quality is decent for the price, but not do expect surround-sound. The fit for the ear piece hurts my ears a bit as the plastic part is curved outward (could be just the one that I bought) and scrapes my ear a bit. The cord length is average, but the thickness is very thin and could be easy to break. In addition it gets tangled very easy and somewhat hard to untangle. I love the case it comes with it though, so that you can protect the headphones and cord, although a hassle to use when you are in a hurry. Sound Quality good quality for the price that you are paying for Comfort Hurts my ears a little bit, but that could the the phone that I received Design similar to the average headphone Durability I haven't used this long, and don't know how long they will last, but my guess is that it will not last long because the cord is relatively thin and the coating for the headphone is hard meaning over time will start to break apart and oil and dirt can get into the headphone.

I have had these for awhile.  They are horrible.  They dont sit good in your ears, very annoying feature.  The sound quality is very poor, somewhat muffled.  I would just spend extra money and get something better.  Only thing good about these are the fact that they are ear buds...who wants to put the ones on there head they dont seem comphy.

As with any earbuds, it is so hard to find ones that fit well into my ears.  I do not feel my ears are smaller than most, I feel they are quite average, but have such a hard time finding ones that do not fall out 20 thousand times while I am trying to listen to my Mp3 player.  Any ideas out there from someone who have found some good earbuds that fit?

I thought it was a good earphones. The only other I had to compare to would be the SkullCandy, and I would have to say these were better. I've had a few of the "other" brand, and they seem to pitter out after some usage, but these headphones are still lasting with no problems. I am not sure of the price range for these earphones, but I'm assuming they were a little more costlier then the one I previously owned. I do like the level of sound from this. My complaint would be the size of the ear buds. They were a tad bit big for my ears, but other then that I like it.

I do not understand why all ear buds are the same size. All ears are certainly not the same size. These seemed like they would fit the bill, but alas, they too fell out. I can overlook this as most earbuds seem to be the same size, but they were more ill-fitting than most and I felt that the sound coming through was very soft. I would not recommend them.

**I bought these headphones to use with my I-Pod Nano because they were more in my price range.** **They have a decent sound and I have been using them for almost a year and they are still working good.** **The only problem that I have is getting them to fit comfortably in my ear without "popping" out. They hardly ever stay in place so I am constantly re-arranging them and sometimes they irritate my ears because of the way that I have to position them to stay in.** **I am planning on getting a more comfortable pair of earphones and keeping these for a spare.** **I like the sound from them but they are not worth the hassle.**

While these ear phones were easy to take anywhere with you, they are some of the most uncomfortable ear phones I have ever had. My dog chewed up my ipod ones. So I went in search of some nice earphones to replace them.  These looked like nice earphones. They had cushy foam on the ear buds and had a long enough cord to plug into my ipod in my pocket. After I bought them I put them in my ear and after five minutes my ears were starting to hurt. Never again will I buy these ear phones.

Would not stay in my ears, sound was not clear, the hurt my ears. They might have worked better if I could have wore them and they were more comfortable. Looks like I just need to stick with the ones that hook over you ear. I will keep looking and trying.......

***Quick View:*** **Koss BUDZ Consumer Headphones** are junk. They hurt, sound awful, and are shottily made. Bypass these. ***My Disappointing ******Koss BUDZ Consumer Headphones Experience**** * These ear buds come in a hard plastic case and actually contain two pairs of buds in one case. We didn't need two sets but, for the price, we couldn't complain (yet). The case is a wind up one with a circle in the middle to wrap the cords around, then lay the buds down. I like case much better than the actual ear buds. The ear buds have a very light covering of black foam and are large. They seem to be larger than other ear buds in diameter and definitely were too big for my ears. I hate ear buds since I think they are tortuous and they seem to always feel like they are ready to fall out of my ears. Still, I have grown accustomed to the ones that came with my iPod and they fit pretty well. These buds are so large that I had a hard time inserting them and getting them to stay in my ears. The foam did nothing to protect my ears from the hard plastic underneath and they irritated my ears almost immediately. The sound is that of two tin cans connected by a string. It is awful. I have some hearing loss in the high frequencies so I had my sons try them. They declared that these were "pure junk" and refused to use them after listening with them for a few minutes. None of us could stand these so we ditched them and bought different ear buds. I got headphones to avoid the painful bud thing. ***My Viewpoint**** ** * I knew the sound quality wouldn't be great because these were so cheap but I didn't expect the discomfort and the hard to fit ear buds. They simply do not seem made to conform to a person's ear which is kind of strange considering that is the only thing they are for. I was very unimpressed with these ear buds and would never buy them again. I am surprised that Koss would make such poor quality ear buds. After all, sound is their business. I don't recommend these to anyone. They will be much too large to fit into a child's or young teen's ears and I don't think any adult would be content with the sound quality even if they managed to get the buds to fit properly. ***I give these 1 star.*** The plastic carry case is nice but, other than that, there really aren't many positives about these ear buds except for price.
